I thought Sunday's were sacred.  Apparently, AOL doesn't think so.  I just got another call from this number and didn't pick up.  It was AOL leaving a message to call them back at another number to offer me another chance after I cancelled them yesterday.  I've heard they can be very annoying after cancelling and hopefully they will quite soon.

What is with these people?  Year end commissions?  My phone rang at 730 this morning and had all zeros on the display.  I didn't answer it but they left a message and said it was AOL offering me an exclusive special.   How inconsiderate.

Can you believe this...they've called two more times since I posted this.  I finally called the number back and demanded that they remove me from the list.  The person was so rude and told me that it would take up to 30 days before the list was sent through all the departments.  This has to be be biggest lie since they're a communications company and do everying by computer.  I hated AOL when I had them and hate them even more since I've left them.  This is a complete nightmare.

Like Steve, I also got a 000-000-0000 call from Blockbuster telling me I had a DVD past due.  I find it very annoying that Blockbuster, a legit company, would resort to using an obviously false number.

    Happy New Year?
I guess New Years Day is not a holiday for some telemarketers.  The first call I got from this number was around 10am.  I got another about an hour ago and it was AOL who left a message about some new special they're offering.  It's a shame that AOL would have to stoop to fake numbers to make sales.

lol... I see many low life companies use this number to hide themselves.  What an annoying way to market themselves.  I left AOL two weeks ago and they've been calling sometimes three times a day with this number to get me back.  It's harassment and even after I tell them to remove me from the list, they just continue to taunt me.  Once even said that if I come back, the calls would stop.  Verizon says that I should file a complaint with the FCC

Call from this number began in December but I never answered it.  Last night, I picked up the phone without looking and it was a collection agency for Mac Tools.  I never bought Mac Tools and have no idea how they got my number but they were very rude and said that I could be charged if I didn't make payment.  Since they had the wrong name, and address, I told them to go ahead and press charges since they've obviously got the wrong person.

Just googled this number after hearing about it on this mornings talk show.  This and many other numbers are used by telemarketers and collection agencies to hide their identity.

They called twice again today...AOL is really a pest to deal with.  I called my phone company and they said that AOL is well known to be a problem and that I need to file a formal complaint with the FTC.

I heard about this number on the radio this morning.  Its been calling my business all week hassing my mechanics that they owe them money.  It's Mac Tools and apparently they're account records are so bad, they've got collection agencies after them for no reason.  Even the local mac tool guy said they're going out of business soon and having some real accounting problems.  I see this phony number is used by many business who don't want people to know who they really are.  It's a very unprofessional way to do business in my opinion.

While driving to work this morning, the local radio station was talking about telemarketers and phone scams who use this phone number.   I had to search google when I got home and now I know.   Their advice is never answer a call if the call id is blocked, unavailable, or uses all zeros since it's almost alwasy a scam.  If it is important, they'll leave a message for you to call back on.

got calls from this number all week...sometimes 3 or 4 per day.  My son answered it and handed it to me.  It was AOL trying to push some offer. I dropped them months ago and they used to call me using a different number. I told them never to call but they still do..they just keep changing the numbers they call from.   very annoying...

I got a call last night from this number.  It was PayDay Loans looking for someone I knew who is late on their payment.  I guess she gave my name as a reference on the application.  These people were VERY RUDE.  They were almost threatening me that if I don't get in touch with her to have her call them. The even told me about her credit history and other information that I thought was confidential!  I looked up the number they gave to call them and it was legit.
