got a call from 0000000000 at 8:43pm on my house phone. Can't they leave us in peace?!

Get a call from this number 000-000-0000 every day, several times a day.  Finally answered and it is a debt consolidation firm.  They want to consolidate all my unsecured debt - too bad don't have any...

I received eight calls from 1-000-000-0000 on my home phone today starting at 10:21 a.m. until 8:58 p.m.  When I would answer the phone, there would be a pause and then I would be hung up on.  The eighth call, a man asked for my husband by his first name only.  When I said he was unavailable, the man hung up on me.  In my case, the number turned out to be 877-221-5933 belonging to DISCOVER card.  I called the phone number on my DISCOVER billing statement for customer service and the representative pulled up my account and confirmed the calls.  She said that they were coming from the marketing department advertising a new product for Identity theft.  She apologized for the number of calls and said that she would remove my number from phone solicitation calls, but I would still receive marketing by mail.  If any of you have a DISCOVER card, you may want to consider calling the card company to see if they can verify that the calls are coming from them and ask to be removed from the phone marketing list.  I hope this ends the harassment, because I am sick of the calls!!!!!!

show up on the caller ID. they sell pens and hang up most of the time.

I am on the national do not call list and they dont care. I call there landlord now every time they call me.

Hy, my name is Leticia, I'm from Maringá a city from Brazil. Today, this telephone number call to me in my home, I thought I should attend. When I attend nobody speack in another line.  I I thought it strange, because in this site people comment things diferent more the telephone number is the same !!!!!!

I called the 877 Discover card number and was greeted by a recording that they had attempted to contact to share information, blah, blah, blah.....pressed 1 to speak to an "account manager".  No one ever came to the line.  A waste of my time.

Occasionally I get the call with 'the number' but I do not answer it. I usually cancel the call coming in. If the caller cannot ID him or herself with a legitmate number, why would I bother to give this caller the time of day?

i get 3 calls a day from this 000-000-0000 number...enough is enough already!

in the last 2 days I have 3  calls from no 000000000000 I have answered it but the line goes dead, what is going on it is very disturbing especially if you are an older person living alone.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Finally answered and they wanted my husband.  He's not at home.  Asked for them to leave a message with me and they hang up.  They call every hour practically.  This is so annoying.  If they can't leave a message DON'T CALL!  What good is a DO NOT CALL LIST if they can't abide by the rules.  Totally annoying to keep bouncing up and down to answer an IDIOT'S telemarketing phone call.

I've been getting these calls on my house phone and my cellphone, and I'm a kid! My parents told verizon to block any calls that are scams and ads, but it keeps calling me. And this 666-666-6666 number calls me, when i pick up the guy says hes willy wonka and hangs up.

1-000-000-0000 calling everyday.  Can trace the call and the person will be sorry.

So far today I've had 4 calls on my work phone.  They started at 7:00 this morning.  I had one message and all it was was people talking in the background.

Someone with a very thick accent trying to tell me I qualified for information on a "government approved health care plan." Took four tries to understand what they were selling. They couldn't understand that I'm on the Do Not Call List. Oh, well. I figure the five minutes I spent on the phone with them mean a few less calls they'll be making ;-)

And now they have reached Germany!

Constantly getting calls from 000-00-0000.  I have to answer the phone so when I do I get some guy who asks for the boss by his first name.  Instead of saying "he's not in", I ask who is calling and he says, "oh yeah, Max Alexander.  Is Ken in?"  I then ask him what company he is calling from.  He says, "yeah, John Thomas.  Can I talk to Ken?"  I've told them to stop calling and they want to get argumentative with me.  I told him to take us off his list and his response was, "there is no list Hun."  
FYI - do NOT call a female - at a business "HUN"!  That is INSULTING.  For those who are used to dealing with large companies who have "receptionists" to answer phones you need to understand that not all companies work that way.  We are a small business and I do everything from answer the phone to payroll to purchasing, etc.  I don't have time for this crap and it pisses me off for you to dismiss me by using demeaning pet names with me.
I looked up the company and called them.  They are in NY we are in NC.  I got the "complaints department"!  They apologized, took our company name and number and told me they had a DO NOT CALL LIST.  The person was very nice and very apologetic.  We'll see if they honor their word.

I got the 000-000-0000  with the /audio /smsm CCP thing also...

I've gotten the call three times so far -- over two days. When I pick - up, the phone line seems dead and goes to a busy signal. Hrumph!

Got this call today - wanted my credit card info but I refused! This is A SCAM - SUNCREST HOLIDAY CLUB! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.
