00-0012-3456

I just got a phone call from 000-012-3456 which is obviously a made up number, and answered it. I got some guy from a call centre in India claiming to be from Microsoft Windows Operating System Regional Support Center.  He claimed my computer was infected with a number of viruses, and would help me clean it. I had already heard of this scam on the news and strung him along to see what they would do. He asked if I was over 18, then stepped me through the Windows Event log to see if I had over 20 errors (everyone does). Then he instructed me to go to the website "www.teamviewer.com" and click on "Join a Session" which downloads their remote-control software and instructed me to run it.  Then he passed me on to his supervisor "Kevin" who asked for my Teamviewer session  ID and Password (which would allow him to take over my computer).  Of course at this point, I gave the wrong session ID. After tying him up for a few more minutes of bogus troubleshooting, he started calling me names, which I reciprocated, because they're obviously thieves trying to take over computers of unsuspecting individuals so they can relay spams, or worse, steal identity and bank account information.  So I managed to tie them up for 11 minutes of overseas long distance and waste a bit of their time, but hopefully others can be warned of this scam and not fall for it.

Don't waste more then 15 seconds with this people, do you think they are so stupid to bear all the long distance charges ? Its skype phone, and you are at the losing end if they decided to "punk" you back for wasting their time. My friend tasted that, got 20 calls from 9 to 10am continuing 7 days. Just hang up!

Is not a bank or anything. This number is a number loan shark use to con their victim into giving them ur details and they loan u money. They will claim they are calling from some bank credit or financial company and offer u low rate loans. but i the end, the loan repayment is weekly and the interested is 20% of what they bank into your account. So please beware.  These group of loan sharks operate from malaysia and they will use different names like Kenny, derrick, kelly, wang wang and such. PLease be careful with ur personnal details. plus if u return them the money early, they will re bank into your account and u have o start paying them again. is a never ending story

I've gotten multiple calls from this number. My phone docent ring though. Just says missed call. Yet it rings for all other calls

I got a call from this number. how do they get the cell #s. didnt leave a message. weird

I have recently started getting calls from 000000123456 only after 23:00 hours. not anytime during the day or any other time. It has occured on 3 nights after 23:00 hours. One night itwas sucha pain that I had to switch off my cell.
I am trying to get to identify the source of this problem.

I bought a new ANDROID based SONY EXPERIA phone last month. Before this I used to use a normal sony phone (NOTE: This never happend on my previous phone)
1) Do all the people that get missed calls from 000000123456 use a smartphone (ANDROID)
2) Do you an account with WIndows Live mobile
3) Do you have WatsApp app

Few things I thought could be a source of this.

I just received a call from this number and they called me on my work phone. It was a stupid prank who were saying : hi ! I'm wearing gloves so I cannot unlock my iphone
I said : just go insde your house take off your gloves and try to unlock it
he said : no, it's cold outside

I finally hung up because it was stupid and he was wasting my time ! the phone number id was 000-012-3456 and I googled it and here I am ! Beware of this [***] stupid Skype numbers !

yeh i got the SAME number (000-012-3456) and they were DO U KNOW WHAT THIS IS!!???? and my brother claimed that it was his friend and mmeee was lisening to the convo and they were just being weird so i tryed to call them many times with like a 1 in front of the number on 3 differant phones and it didnt allow me to call them and on the collor ID n one of the phones it said my brother friends name.... weiiirrd huh?

ANND they knew my brothers name so it must be a random prank call number that differant people use

i got a call from 000-012-3456 last night and he said f**k u a f**king sick c**t u w***e and it freeked me out pretty bad

it's someone with a very heavy accent telling me that my auto loan was approved.  I've recieved this from other numbers also.  I told him, that I never applied for a auto loan, that I had a brand new car, was on the do not call list, and that I was coming online to report him.  I hung up and two minutes later he calls back from the same number and tells me "'well how did I get your application for auto loan"  I told him I had no idea but that I was still reporting him.

This number called me to say that I was appoved for a car loan, when I told them I had a brand new car and didn't apply for a auto loan, and that my number was on the do not call registry, I told him I was reporting him and hung up.  Less than 2 minutes later he calls back, same guy with a very heavy accent and tells me "well how did I get your loan application"  I told him I had no idea, I was still reporting him.  He has also called me from other numbers.  BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting this number calling my phone incessantly for that last 2 days. How do I stop it?? Most of the time it comes up as a blocked number but once it came through with the actual number.

Got 8 calls from this number over a couple days, mostly within 3 minutes of each other. Caller ID said candycristina, candy cristina and unknown. We weren't home and noticed it when we got in.  Anyone else seen this? Maybe we're being stalked by a stripper!
