- PaulMy other got a call from this number (dialling 1471 gave the number as 000442088618682, which equates to this number). They were doing market research about TV viewing. She gets a lot of nuisance calls from the insurance comapanies wanting to cover her Sky satellite equipment. They always seem to know about her current cover, but she will not listen when I point out that her insurers are giving out/leaking the information & continues to use their service. I suspect it is them who have given her details to Ipos-mori, who own this number. Ipos-mori state on their website that they use random dialling, but it seems like too much of a coincidence that it is TV related again.

- hlGot call from this at 17:32 today. Caller hung up but could hear keystrokes in background first. After looking through posts have now contacted IPSOS MORI. I'm ex directory & registered with TPS. Why isn't there a way to prevent these calls??? My elderly mother receives them too & gets very upset.
- Caller: IPSOS MORI (assumed)
- hl2nd call of the day at 20:00. Hung up again. I have registered complaint with IPSOS MORI at http://www.ipsos-mori.com/contactus/contactusform.aspx?query=unwantedcalls
- Caller: IPSOS MORI
- hlHave now sent complaint to ofcom and will keep doing this
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/
follow the links & give as much information as you can. Remember to dial 1471 if you receive a nuisance call & make a note of the date & time. The more we let ofcom know the more they can do. - AlanRang me this evening at 19.30 on my Blackberry but never answered the call. Luckily I have Antair call blocker on my BB so have added this number to mr blacklist.
- Caller: Dont know
- Busted LegMy mother is unwell at the moment and i need to be at the end of a phone in case of the worst happening, I recieved a call from this number and slipped whilst rushing to the phone. Now laid up with a busted leg unable to work,Drive or get to parents if needed. As this is the third call from them to an EX-Directory TPS registered number. Do i have a claim as if it was not for their call i wouldn't currently be unable to work.

If you've been getting these calls, go and have some fun filling in the form with junk info - press submit - press back - and do it again...and again...and again...and again. Get the idea?
Have fun- Caller: Mori

Here's another one for ya -
every time you get a call, string em along as for as long as you can - waste as much of their phone time - provide all the wrong answers so they're databases get filled up with totally worthless information.
Imagine if several thousand people did this on a regular basis - it would cost them a fortune in phone bills and staff time - and their credibility would plummet along with the bogus data - they'd eventually have to stop being [***] or go bust. - MelioraThis number called us twice even though they said it was random calling and we are ex-directory. They seem very interested in our son and even wanted his name. They ask intrusive questions and are a nuisance

- mind1I recieved a call from this number today whilst I was out they did not leave a message and I am wondering if they will call me again/
I Googled the number and found many of you had also recieved calls from them.- Caller: no idea
- WoodyHad a few calls from these now, asking for me by
Name, wanting to ask questions about my car, which of
course, they new what make it was. So this is supposed to
be a randomly generated number? I think not.
Just recently did my car insurance online and always checked
the box that I did not wish to receive calls, emails etc.
Can't be a coincidence, can it. They are a p.i.t.a and I shall start to waste
their time with senseless answers and gibberish. After all, they've made
the effort to contact me, it would be rude of me not to.
I urge you all to find ,Tom Mabe's prank calls on YouTube for insperation.
