Bloody number keeps calling, I've already told them once I am registered with TPS, but I guess they are forgieners and dont care as the rules don't apply to them... dunno if i should answer now or just leave it!

also got a call from 000442088618682 8.30pm last night. Very strange person said he was doing a survey. When I told him I wasnt interested he asked if I was very sure about that!!!!!!!!!! Very unnerving !!

I have received several calls from this number over past few days, I have recently barred all calls from  witheld numbers, at a cost of £4 per month with BT as I was receiving up to 20 a day and hey ho now I start getting these.  I have had TPS for sometime, luckily I can see what numbers are calling, if this continues I will contact BT and ask them to bar them as they are nuisance calls.  Will see what happens.

I received a call from this unusual number at 9pm but did not answer. I am registered with TPS but keep on receiving survey calls all the time.

Had  a call this morning from this number......survey....hung up.

I have had loads of non-messages this past few days and as I have family abroad was getting worried. Thank you google for putting my mind at rest.

I recieved a call from yhis number at 20-45, was not happy about recieving a call at that time. they said they were from Ipsos Mori doing a survey into what i like to do with my spare time, i replied "I don't like talking to strangers on the phone in my spare time" that seemed to work.

It comes from Ipsos Mori through a South African call Centre   The local numbers of Ipsos Moris are            020 7347 3000      and 020 8861 8000  

I called the first one and asked to be put through to the person in charge who waws in pains to explain why thety are a pest to people like me who am ex directory ... he said the use computorized randomly selected numbers . I suggested that he googles 000442088618682 and find out what the public thinks about them.... He maintained it is only a farction of people who complain  ... He promised my number will be deleted within 24 hours  .... I suggest you all call them or email them on their website at

I recently had a new line installed and kept getting calls from this number. Being that I had not even told ANY of my friends, I traced it back to MORI POLLS. I know computers generate the numbers randomly, but I would have thought MORI would not stoop so low as to have to do this. My estimation of them has gone to rock bottom.
I believe there are soon to be MEGA fines to companies who cold call and ghost call. I can't wait to see them declared bankrupt as a result of ignoring and flouting the rules.

Some telemarketing company - did not catch the name.  She wanted to ask me some questions.  I said she could ask them but I would not give her the answers.  She hung up.  (They have called at least once before because I rang 1471 and got the number)

These calls are from the London Office, in Harrow, of Ipsos Mori, whose main number is 02088618000.
They carry out surveys, in order to generate business, for and on behalf of many different clients.

These people have been harassing me all night.  I am sick to death of them.

Had a call from this number today.........did'nt get to the phone in time however when I tried to call it back the message stated that the number does'nt exist...strange but true....obviously they are up to no good or they would'nt hide behind this number......99% sure its a debt company coz this is the style for these scumbags....I will endevour to identify this number and I WILL INFORM YOU ALL who they are.

Had a couple of calls from this number on Saturday and Sunday so searched here and found all of this info.

I looked on their website and found an email address (telephone@ipsos-mori.com) to contacted them, initially I just asked in my email if they could confirm that 00044 2088618682 was their number and they said it was, I then replied politely and asked If I could have my number removed.

I was informed this was possible and just made aware of the following.....

"I must inform you though, that in order to ensure you receive no future calls I would need to add your number to our "Do Not Call" list. Your number will only be held in order to exclude it from future studies. We absolutely guarantee that our "Do not call" database will not be disclosed to any third party, nor will it be used for any other purpose, and contains only telephone numbers, and no other details whatsoever."

After that I provided them with my number and eventually received the below reply...

"I can now confirm that your number has been removed and added to our "Do Not Call" list."

The whole process which included 5 emails from me and 4 from them took a couple of hours.

Had a call from this number, answered, was a young lady apparently doing a social survey.  When I asked how they got my number (TPR registered and ex-directory) she said it was atandom number dialler.  I told her they were un-ethical and illeagal and she started giving me abuse.

cold call last night on my mobile. Dont know who it was or how they got my no Tried calling back and said no. not recognised

i got a call from 00044 today, broadcasting survey or something?? stupidly for the 1st time I did speak to THIS and he asked for internet connection, household memebers' agaes (eg is it 25-44) mentioned confidentiality, no precise questions. Then he provided with choice of jobs that members are doing (manual workers/ private sector/ etc/ )and then he said that something came up on his screen as female something so he had to close the survey. Wished me good day and hanged up. What the hell is that all about? Will i get a big phone bill????

I got a phone call this morning 26th March 10.30am fortunately I did not pick up on time.  When I dialled to find out the last caller number this is the number that I received.  I did not reply as I knew this was not a known number to our home.
