Hi Just had a phone call from this number from an Indian call centre, claiming to have been passed our number from TPS.  Advised that they were starting up a database to list all TPS number so that telemarketing companies would not phone us back.  One off charge of £19.99 to do this!!!!  Told him that TPS was free and wasnt going to pay for a free service.  He ended the conversation swiftly.  After reading this message board it is obviously a con as same number but with diffferent queries.

I have had calls from this number, You answer somebody answers if you hang on after about 10 seconds someone will answer and tell you its a survey it could be about TPS or Sky or other products there after your money. If you question them they soon hang up.

I just had a call from this no twice in abut 1- mins. Foreign sounding woman she said she was from SKY an. I asked her where she was calling from and she said UK I asked her why she had an international number starting 003.
She said the service was abroad so I asked her why she was calling from abroad about a Sky box but she didn't seem to want to answer that question
I asked her which town she was calling from and she said Bolton. I asked her whihc county Bolton was in and she said UK
So I said Bolton in Yorkshire and she said No in the UK
Well if the moron was really in Bolton she would know that it had a county
So clearly as thick as pig [***]

Cant get to know who the company is
She just was on about the Sky Box
I have had calls from companies before asking about the Sky box and I think they are trying to scare you into the fact that the sky box will fail and you can take out some insurance with them to have it replaced free but Hey do you want to give your credit card details to some [***] who doesn't even know where Bolton is.

Going out to buy a whistle so I can damage their ear drums next time they ring

Had a call from this number said he was calling from sky and was my box working ok, told him to hold on I needed to answer the door after 10 mins he was no longer there

Got a call from this number today (20/5/10) at 17:03 on my 3-UK Pay as you Go mobile phone, offering me a contract mobile.
 0034 is the Spain country code, but sounded Indian.  Had a hard time understanding him. I kept refusing, telling him that everything he was listing I get anyway (unlimited Windows Live Messenger, unlimited Skype, unlimited facebook (using 0.facebook.com), unlimited Twitter), but he kept on - started trying to offer me a SIM-only contract, then tried offering a mobile broadband dongle for £7.50/month.  I just said I was happy with 3 and I didn't want to change.  I'm too polite to just hang up - I've tried working in sales, it's hard when recipients are so rude on the phone, the sales people are just trying to earn a living.

I'm in Greece now. It calle me yesterday at 1 am or so. Weird. Didn;t hear any voiced , nor someone breath into the phone. got scared frankly thinking that that might ha been ceitain person that's looking for me. Anyways, got relieved when I saw that it was a spanish phone code.The weird part is that it was as if it were a machine-I just tryed to catch at least a sond -but I was listening for an entire minute and nothing, not even breathing!
I do use Skype though. I did write my phone number to some friends through Skype. I think this is somehow connected with Skype. I do know that they overhear all conversations-so be VERY CAREFUL!!! ...they must have some bogus thelephone company in India or Spain. But what are they looking for? Just money? Didn;t attempt to sell me anything...weird again.

just got a call from this number, hung up as soon as i said hello.

Just had a call from someone on this number claiming to work for a company that had had an alert from my computer! They said they worked in partnership with Microsoft but I didn't get their name as I was having difficulty with the man’s accent which sounded Indian. They knew my name and number!  He spoke really fast and I think he was trying to confuse me with computer jargon. He told me to look at the events viewer on my computer and there were over 7000 error messages which he told me where spy ware etc and that they need to be remove as my computer was in danger! When I asked how much this would cost he didn't tell me which i thought was suspicious and got his 'supervisor' on the phone. It all didn't add up and when I questioned the integrity of their company they got a bit aggressive. I had to go and pick up a pizza and told them to ring back. Meanwhile I googled 'company ringing me to tell me I have a virus' and things came up about scams. Before I hung up to get my pizza which i was late for he said he wanted me to google the company but I didn't get that far. I got my pizza and they did ring back and I said don't ring me again cause I thought they where trying to scam me and they rang back 4 times and then I ignored their calls. They were very persistent. DON' T BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY

Just had a call from this number, told me I had a problem with my sky box (I don't have one) I asked who was calling and she repeated that she was from sky and when I said I don't have a problem she hung up, HOW RUDE!! Looks like another looooong week of hoax calls. :(

i had a call from this number today, and said that i have been having problems with my computer and he was going to help me solve it, i told them that my computer was fine as we wiped it all clean the other day, the person on the phone then replied saying 'how do you know, your not a IT technician' so i said no but my dad is and they sounded very shocked but was still demanding for me to turn my PC on,i got angry and told them to go away and they put the phone down.

be careful people seems that this company is definately fraud with the different calls they are amking to people.

I think one of the posters may be right - I'm getting calls from this number and I use Skype - coincidence or not?

They claimed to be bt and that i had an outstanding balance of £300 and unless i made a payment over the phone my Line would be terminated , Stated do they have an office number at which point they got highly aggressive and it was an indian woman. Funny think is my account with bt is £100 in credit.....

I dont use skype and my landline which they called on is never used for anything other than internet and close family. So where they got the number etc i couldn't say

Just a call from this number asking for a Miss Charlotte. This is our business line. Sounded Indian I must say. When I asked what is was about he hung up.

Someone I know got a call on this number from a man who sounded asian, offering to help me pay off my debts.

got a phone call today asking for money and also three times yesterday won,t leave me alone.

This number also rang me just 10 secs ago 0034009054 (14:53 19/06/2010) i answered and noone was there? they hung up when i said hello twice, i'v only had this number for one month and not a lot of people have it, whats going on???

I just had a call from this number asking for a Mrs Cooky, when I said you have the wrong number he just slammed the phone down, it was an Indian speaking man....Conman more like!!   22/06/2010

I've had loads of calls from these people over the last couple of weeks - in spite of the fact I keep telling them not to call me and hanging up on them.
They have said it's because i'm a valued BT customer which i'm not, trying to offer me a deal on phone line and calls etc. The guy was called Shaun calling from Primas?! Starting to do my head in!!!

I had a similar call a couple of weeks ago. Wanting me to turn on my computer so he could show me how many virus' it had. I was heading off to work and said I didn't have time! Guessing he was after remote access to my machine for passwords or whatever. It has always been asian guys on the phone and smacks of SCAM!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

this number called me today 01/07/2010
said they were from financial help line and had seen my credit profile and wanted to help with my debts
i asked where he got my number and details
and he just shouted f**k off down the phone and hung up
unable to phone back
