Seems to be a virtual (non-existent) number meant for outgoing calls only. A guy with an Indian accent called me at 11:29 today (2/7/2010) and asked to speak to Harold (my Dad's name, also my middle name). I said no, you've got James. The then promptly said "ok bye." and hung up.

The person that phoned sounded strongly Asian asked for my husband, by our surname, asked if we had a BT line, I asked why and what was it about he said he wanted to speak to my husband he asked a couple more times while I was asking what it was about,  he said 'Are you deaf I asked for Mr?' I was a 'rather annoyed at taht' and said how dare he speak to me like that and that actually my husband was deaf, he then went on to say with no apology that it was a survey, when I said I didn't do phone survey's he put the phone down.  I remembered then that I'd had a similar call a while ago.  So it could be BT or it could be something totally different - so I'm really not much help!

I have received many phone calls to my work from this number regarding my "debt" of which i have none - he disclosed personal information to a collegue. He said he was calling first from Consumer Crediy Services and then from Debt Management Service. I phoned DMS who advised they have received many calls from other people having the same problem but assured me its not them.
    • Caller: Debt Management Service????

I have also just had a call from this number. ---- sounded like an Indian lady who congratulated me on winning 12,000 euros and then went on to ask if ******  ********** was indeed my name.
I immediately smelled a rat and told her that I don,t answer calls of this nature. ---- I then put the phone down !!!

hello mr ,,,,,,,,, how are you? in an indian accent. i said what are you selling? he said my computer keeps on sending messages to them, a serious problem. i asked who them were, he said hes from windows. i turned the telly down and asked him to run that by me again. he repeated he was from windows i said microsoft, he said yes microsoft windows. i must turn my computer on so that they could fix it (it was already on) i said that this had the odour of a bit of a scam, no no he said its no scam, turn my computer on and he'd show me. yeah yeah i said i'm daft enough to do that, to give you access to my comp and passwords, bank account numbers, family and friends info, or to put a backdoor trojan on it which no doubt you could then remove for a fee.i told him to bugger off and find some other sucker to hoodwink cos i was having none of it. his cocky confidence shaken in a low whisper he signed off with a "Oh alright then".   i'm getting a bit peed off with these kinda calls, i must be getting 3-5 a week!

This number called my parents home a few nights ago, from a call centre, asking for me.

When my dad explained that I didnt live there anymore, and could he pass on a message, a man with a VERY Indian accent, said he was my boyfriend, called "Jonathan", and he was stuck abroad.

My dad immediately smelled a rat, as my boyfriend, (whos English, and NOT called Jonathan), was at home with me!

My Dad asked again what he actually wanted, and the man at the other end hung up. Very strange.

Incoming today on numerous occasions - silent calling.  Did eventually get a 'human' on the other end - sounded Indian from the accent. Calling 'on behalf of E-On electricity' - now we've already threatened to take E On to Ofcom because they WILL NOT remove us from their databases.

Apparently wanted to save me money on my business electricity bills - be a bit difficult, we're in serviced offices (who's electricity is provided by... E On!).

Phone number is allegedly Spanish or Spanish Islands - but am fairly certain if you called it would be invalid as insufficient number of digits.

Keep getting calls from 0034009054, sometimes twice a day. This has been going on for weeks. When I pick the phone up there is no one there.I called the number back today to see who it was. There was a lot of background noise like in a station and a man's voice said a few words, it started with 'no' but I couldn't hear the rest. When I try the number now I get unobtainable.
I have no idea who this is or how to stop these calls, does anyone know?

I have had repeated calls from this number - they never leave a message.  Today, I happened to be home and spoke to a woman who sounded like she was from an Indian Call Centre.  She claimed to be from 'the maintenance company' for my computer, I asked her several times the name of the maintence company and all she would say it was the maintenance company for my computer. I asked her for my name and address, which she had correct.

I asked her why she was calling. Her reply was that she was to rectify faults coming from my computer.  I asked her what sort of computer I had - she didn't know, other than a windows based one.  When she asked me to log on my computer, I rang off
