Don't know who the number is.  Beware think it is a scam phone number.  Kept asking me for banking details etc

I got a call from this number. Claimed to be the World Lotto Corporation. Said I had won a prize in a european lottery. Sounded dodgy.

Monday 5th Oct.2009.  I received a telephone call from the World Lotto Corp of Liechtenstein. They told me that their telephone number was 004233779797. The Indian/Pakistani called himself Neil Johnson.  He was desperate to get me to reveal my CC/DC details to purchase two lots of lottery numbers with which I would win a fortune. I was even passed to a "Manager" - another
Indian/Pakistani with a mumbled English name who assured me that I was only being asked to pay 30Euro for 5 weeks entry to the Lottery. I was given two sets of numbers over the phone one set of which was wrong because I was given 5 twice in the same set. As a retired Fraud Officer (Met) I am quite happy that this is fraudulent.

When they first rang - the telephone line was somehow locked into their line and I could not get rid of it.

1471 revealed that the World Lotto Corp were telephoning from 0844 704 2622

i was called today by a nick robinson telling me that i had a chance of winning 12000 euros, after going trough all the conversation with him i found out that he wanted my bank cc/dc details for taking 3 euros for 5 weeks of tickets when i told him i have no cc or dc i was then told that i could get a paypoint or a prime card from a paypoint retailer for a cost of £27 when i told him i was house bound, because i had broken my leg the answer was to get someone else to get it for me. when i dialed 1471 the line was still connected on the first occation.so i hung up and redialled 1471 and suprise, suprise, the number was withheld but the contact was 004233779797 personal account manager nick robinson with referance INOX00107

I had this same firm ten minutes ago, same number, someone called Lisa Jolley, whom I asked to give me an hour and ring back on a different number. Withheld when I 1471'd it. I've been trying to find out as much about them as I can since then, and the main point I managed to pick up from consumer sites is that there is no such thing as a legitimate lottery that contacts winners to tell them they've won. I'd point that out to them, tell them to sling their hooks and leave it at that.

i had call from sharron she even told me 3 shops locally i could go to locally to get a prepaid card from it must have a 16 digit code and she will call me back. £27 for 5 weeks is £2.70 a line per week i think i will stick with camelot

got a call today about world lotto corp,telling me how much easier it was to win this lotto,when he got to £27 and wanting my card details i hung up ,he called back twice his name was jarvie,most likely indian extraction.He said he would call me every Friday for 5 weeks at 5.00 mytime to tell me how much i had won,gave me a code INOX 0121.So i thought i would check this lotto out,of course it doesnt exist.Please beware of this scam,dont give any details of your cards out.T

More garbage from the 'World Lotto Corporation' which does NOT exist....it's a scam to get your credit / debit card details and then you will become the victim of ID Theft and Fraud.

Tell them where to go....do NOT give any personal information whatsoever.

I was called just now by the same telephone scam. Asking for personal details name/DOB etc. Initially said he was from world lotto association then changed it to cooperation. I asked for tel no of head office which he said was in Litchenstein but i could check them out online. Hard sell and after banhking details. He said he would give me time to check on line and ring back !! I hope he does as i shall give him what for. The no on my caller ID from dialling was 09068

I just had a call from a number telling me i could win millions of euros on this amazing goverment authorised lottery, 004233779797 the name she gave was lisa calloay, after trying to get my name and date of birth out of me and any details they could i put my foot down and said there is no way i would give out my details, also none of the details i gave them about myself were correct, good luck nicking my id. when they call they make up they have right number wrong person to get your details, so just lie to them and waste there time

received a call this evening from 004233779797 said his name was Austin Mathews spoke with a foreign accent.He wanted my name and date of birth which i gave him but refused to give him my credit card details.He said there was no risk as my credit card would always pay for any forgery at which i put the phone down. When i dialed 1471 it was a unatainable number

i worked in this company for 12 months only i think which i know for a fact there is no one has won jackpot ,so its all fixed and advice is not spend anything on this lottery

Just got that call - was not happy when I refused to give DoB and e-mail address so didn't get to bank card detail - the script was the same as above entries though. I think they mention Euro and Euros to associate with the Euro lottery which has had winners.

Just got a call from them a moment ago and even if you day that you are not interested, funnily enough they asked us to call that very same number:  004233779797.

They must be desperate for cash as they don't take no for an answer.  Has anyone tried to contact watchdog and see if they can help put a stop to this in their next series?

Received a call at 10.30 this morning to say i had won 12,000 euros. He was an asian  spoke broken english and called himself Ronnie Mathews and he was calling from litchenstien and he expected me to take him seriously. i,ve yet to meet an asian called ronnie so i decided to play along listened to his crap then he put me on to some number expert who gave me five hot numbers he predicted i would win with ??.Then came the punch line needed my date of birth and bank details to proceed. I gave him a two word reply ending in OFF.I hung up the phone and tried to call my phone provider could,nt make a call for 30 minutes as everytime i lifted receiver they were still there

Guess they must be working through Fife addresses! Just off the phone with someone, can't remember the name, as I switched off very soon after hearing I'd won a prize etc etc. I got a little bored after a couple of minutes of listening to the story (same as above posts), and when I told him (Indian sounding) that I wasn't going to be signing up for anything he gave me there web address and very quickly hung up saying he'd call me back tomorrow once I'd checked them out. Good luck to him, not a hope in hell :-))

They've obviously moved their list south from Fife to try Edinburgh now! Phoned me at lunchtime today, claimed his name was Russell Jones and asked for my dad (who hasn't lived here for two years!) saying he could only speak to him. Once I got the World Lotto Corporation out of him I told him to b***** off and he hung up pronto.

I have been playing with World Lotto Corporation for over a year now and can say they are a legitimate lottery. My personal service manager, Austin Mathew calls me every Friday to give me my lottery results. I am very happy with their service and their games. I would warn to be careful with calls like these though as not all are legitimate companies. I received a call from someone a couple of months ago saying they were World Lotto Corporation and they said I had won £ 700. I was suspicious about this as it was the first time I had received a call from this person and I play my games in Euros, not pounds. I asked to speak to Austin Mathew then he just hung up. When I spoke to Austin, he said that it was not a call from them and I did not win £ 700, in fact I never even had tickets in any draws so I could not have won anything. So if someone calls you saying you won and you have never even entered into a draw, it's probably a fraud call.

I have  been dealing with the World lotto Corporation for a few years now and I have been quite happy with the gentleman that looks after my lotto queries. I must say the game is better then the NL and I have won with the WLC not a huge ammount but I am quite happy with the winnings I get.

world lotto corporation ..............  I have been playing lotto with this organisation for last few months, and I am happy with the services they are providing moreover I am getting my wins time to time.
