I received a call yesterday saying I had won 6000euro, I recognised the voice (indian extraction) as someone I had spoken to a few times from world lotto,said my phone number had been drawn for this win.  I was actually believing him until he said I would have to sent £200 for carriage etc, I told him I didnt have £200, he said to hang on and when he came back he asked if I could manage £100 I said "no as I'm a pensioner,then he asked if I could manage £50 I said no he then said he would see what he could do and he would phone me back, this was yesterday, I'm still waiting, yawn.

was called today by a chinese gentleman calling himself thomas jones, he told me that i had won 6000 euros ( £5,700).  they wanted £300 for admin services which included £150 for themselves and £150 for a company dealing with the transfer of the cheque (UKASH).  Checked out UKASH seemed la-git but never can tell, proof of the pudding is in the eating.
 He wanted the £300 by tomorrow, when I said I couldn't get that much he said £150 would do to pay for the courier type of thing.
 Won't be able to raise the cash, suggested he take it out of the winnings (?) but he said he needed the ukash voucher number first.  He said he would call me tomorrow for the ukash voucher number.

i have just had a telephone call from that number saying that they have gone bankrupt and that they have to pay all the money paid to them and also the winnings back and that this would go via the bank off england the amount being 3.000 euros. they wont leave me alone and keep telling me that i have won high amounts off money and all i have to do is go and buy these vouchers for 200 pounds from my local news agents they also keep asking for bank details you will be happy to know i keep putting the phone down on them but today they put the phone down on me as i told them where to go

the same thing happend to me dont fall for it i nearly did am just so glad i dident but where do they get our names from in the first place something needs to be done

I had dealt with World Lotto for a couple of years, and had small wins sent in euros. I always spoke to Fred, who phoned me every Friday afternoon.He suddenly stopped calling. Then about 3 months later he phoned again, said he had been in an accident, and had just returned to work. We chatted for a few mins, he said I had 2 more entries in a free draw and hung up,
A couple of days later he phoned to say I had won 6000 euros.
He wanted me to get UKash vouchers for £200 .He would not be put off, or pay by cheque, and expected me to get to my nearest Paypoint shop and back in 20 mins.
I said it was not possible and he said £100.and 9.00am next morning!
Because I had dealt with him for quite a while I did get UKash vouchers for £100 and gave him the voucher no.
2weeks later and surprise surprise no money, no cheque, BUT--------------
a couple of days later I had another phone call,  this time I had won 14,000 euros.
This time they wanted £450, and I had to collect my winnings £12,000 IN CASH from a shop on the High Street. Several phone calls later this was changed to the Post offfice.

I could not imagine the Post Office giving me £12,000 over the counter at 9 in the morning. and I certainly was not going to pay out £450.
I ignored all phone callls , they phoned me 12 times.
a few days later a PeterDawson phoned to see why I had still not colllected my winnings. He gave me a phone no.02080999192. He was the Relieving manager RJ5412
I have since had calls from a lady to say the cheque for 14,000euros would be sent in 3-4 days. (no mention of me paying}
I have had a phone call from another man saying he was the manager.
yesterday it was Jack LEWIS from the UK FINANCE DEPT LONDON.
MY CHEQUE  no --------- will be delivered at 11.30 am this morning 03/11/2011 by M Edward Green and the UKash voucher for £500.00 is to pay VAT TAX.. AT this point my daughter told him where to go
and I reported all this to the fraud office!

iany  didnt know he was chinese  as for 2yrs he was the guy i dealt with  then they went bancrupt   didnt handear any more untill  yeterday when he thomas rang me to tell me i had won 10.500 pounds when he wanted me to get ukash 300 pound voucher   and said id have to get it before they sent winnings which was won on free game???no way

I was contacted by the World Lotto Corporation & admittedly did play a couple of games. Then I got fed up of them ringing me & told them to take me off their list. They still persist 2 years down the line! I get a phone call 2 months ago saying I had won 12,000 euros, but had to pay £300 to get it! Needless to say I didn't pay! Yesterday I get another call from them giving their number as...02081238337 telling me the cheque will be arriving shortly. This morning a Mr Edward Green rang me from Uk Finance Dept phone number 03450255319 telling me to go to my local Spar where I was to get a U cash Voucher for £199,  I had to do this in 20 minutes & ring him straight back with the 19 digit number so he could verify this was a genuine voucher,  then a chap would turn up tomorrow with my cheque! Needless to say I rang the police who put me in touch with Action Fraud, they now have a case file on this operation, please I would advise you all do the same otherwise nothing will be done & they will still carry on robbing some poor old lady out of their hard earned money! The website says it has gone into Liquidation! I hope this helps anyone checking up on them.

This has happened to me in exactly the same way and the same phone numbers were given to me .I was told to go to a local Co-op Store to get a U cash Voucher for £200 to pay the v.a.t.Then they would ring me for the 19 digit no.to check it,and I would receive my cheque the next day.I obviously did not get the voucher and reported it to Action Fraud and when I was rung after an hour for the voucher no,I told the guy that I had reported it to Action Fraud and put the phone down.They must be desperate as today 5 days later I have received another call to say that my winnings will be frozen and I will never receive them as I will not buy the £200 U cash voucher to pay the v.a.t.I said I didn't think I would anyway and again told this guy who was a different one to the previous that I had reported it to Action Fraud.He still kept on trying to convince me it was genuine.I said if so pay me the winnings and I will pay the v.a.t. straight to the uk government office.He said he couldn't do that,so I ended the conversation.

i am getting phone calls from this so called company your all right i never heard of an indian person with an english name,they keep telling me i have won 12  thousand urose and then ask me to to purchace some sort of cash voucher from a super market and send it to them the cost of this voucher been 200 pounds and when i have bought it give it to a adelivery man whom they will send to collect it and then i would get the checue for 12000 uroes is is this a scam our what

i have been getting calls since march telling me i have one £6000 in a draw of past players iplayed twice then cancelled about 5 years ago. to get my money i have to pay £550 for refundable vat this comes from 1stMark Johnson phone02080999109 that was in march iblocked his number . Today i got a call from Jarden TALOR ACCOUNTS MANAGER telling me the same story i have to go to the post office at an arranged time his number is02080999109.

I got a call from on Saturday 09/06/2012 at about 15:00 and then they came back with an email saying that I would need to pay the costs amounting to £200. Scam or what?
