This number called me played some music down the phone, the call connected I heard voices and they hung up the phone

this number keeps ringing but when i answer it hangs up ???

This number has called and told me I had enquired about a loan recently and wanted to know my financial situation whether I had or needed a loan

Just got a call about a loan from 00917024122123.

This number 00 917 is the country code for Dubai, as far as I can work out it belongs to an office over there, what ever you do don't give them any details.
i will have my colleges in Dubai track them down. Bad luck to them, if they are ripping people off the punishment is grave out there.

Had a call at 17:31 today.  All I got was hold music so hung up.  Based on the comments above I'm glad I didn't wait.

they wanted to give me free phone for only £24 per month lol
i stated i was on the list to stop me getting cold calls and that i wanted their details.I was hung up on
they could not have wanted my business that bad

call from 00917024122123  asked to speak to the householder, told him he had rung a company telephone number and hung up.  alth the call was answered, there were voicemails left on all company land telephones with no message left

Call today at 14.45 hours - no message left but looked number up on this site - glad I did, sounds like trouble and I won't be answering if they call back.

Also had calls from the same number. 3 to the land line and 1 to my mobile. Got to give them credit for effort.

A woman called from this number 00917024122123 and said I had won a mobile phone.  I said no thanks and hung up.  Total nuisance.

19:41 got a phone call saying that they were a phone company, we told them we were on Telephone Preference Service, I asked where they'd got our number from funnily enough they quickly hung up. Quick question, my other half is in the forces and recently spent some time out in Dubai, could they be getting the numbers that way from phone calls he made? And is this common to all of us, do we all have friends out there?

They phoned me again at 9:50am this morning and the line went dead.  What an utter shower of evil minded losers.

Just called me there, 15:40 and offered an Orange mobile phone. When i refused he offered me a loan of between £500 to £1000 or whatever i wanted lol. Hung up after i said no!!

Was called by this number, heard some music, then someone introduced himself as "Armani Milkshake Wilson" and asked to speak to the homeowner. I replied that there was no-one here of that name, then he asked for the tenant and I still refused to give any information. Finally he asked, "Who are you then?" to which I responded, "None of your business" and hung up.

Didn't answer the call, didn't leave a message. I also am registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so they are finding a way round it somehow.

Had a call from that number myself. Someone trying to sell me cheaper phone calls or something. I could barely understand the person. Eventually they apologised & hung up.

Its a scam, the gimmick is they ring your number and put the phoner down, you do a 1471 check, and ring them back out of curiousity. Bang - they got you. Nationally we should order everything they've got, give them the order, then twist the tables and deny it, say it wasn't you. That way they'll soon pack it in.

Well They Phoned Me Up Today ( 21/ 11/ 07) at around 7.50 pm .  I said Hello In A Friendly Way Thinking It Was one of my friends but then i heard sort of romantic music being played then it stopped and it hung up . I thought it was one my mates having a laugh but i checked the number and it wasnt! I told my mum she said she had the same phone call a week ago asking for the owner of the household . The thing that scares me is the fact that we have our phone number blocked from pranks & gimmics but they managed to get past it ! We phoned them back and no anser :S
