It seem this number is bogus.  and don't be surprise you get charge for the text conversation

Got two texts from this number. First one said someone on yahoo is trying to get in touch with you.  Second message was from darkdarian and wanted to go to a website.

I posted an add to get a roommate and she said she was from Spain but her dad was in Denver and he sent me a fake check from Florida for her rent.  She wanted me to send $2000 of what he sent for her car.  I will see what happens.  Don't ever fall for someone telling you they want you to send money somewhere.  Her name is Kristen Stewartt. patjohn3002@gmail.com

Here's the spam message I just got texted to my Verizon phone.  I'm sure it's some viral porn site or some junk.

Follow-up: I unincoded the URL and it reads

Used an incognito browser window and it redirects to a Wal-Mart gift card scam site.

I just got a text from the same number. Luckily I googled it first because I didn't recognize the number. Yahoo though sent me a text first, telling me a yahoo customer was going to be texting me. I blocked the number. Thanks for the heads up everyone!

How about this one guys received several text messages that their mother is sick and need help, $700 to purchase oxygen 2 week.  Then now need documents to be released of which I did not response, so after that a consignment is being held by customs (supposingly elephant trunks) need $26000 to release.  This person do not want to give up.  any advise

This is so sad! I had joined Match.com and had met this pretty lady by the name of Genevie Kramps. She had emailed me some pics of her, and man was she hot! I had just seperated from my wife and was looking for a lady friend. So, needless to say that I was stoked to have found someone so fast. Over 4 days, we must have chated for over 15 hrs, thats no joke. On Match.com her profile said that she was from Palm desert, Ca.  So I find out that she is working with Unicef in Ghana west Africa. She claimed to be a Nures or a RN and was there working and helping people. We talked about some very deep things in life and she wanted to fly to my location and meet me at Christmas time. Then she says that she wants only a one way ticket and would like to live with me. she said she would get a good job as a nurse and even help suport me. Somewhere in our chating through Yahoo IM, she says, "Can I ask you a favor"? Dumb me said sure. She wanted me to send $150 to her roomate by the name of  Kingsley Owusu. I asked her why she did not want the money sent to her name. She said that it's easyer to send it to her roomate and that she would go with her to pay the internet bill. As soon as she said the words "Western Union" I knew something was up. But stupid me was so interested in her that I decieded to trust her and send the money. I gave her my cell number because I wanted to talk to her/hear her voice before I sent the money. I told her only to call once because I was affraid that my ex would see it on the phone bill. The plan was for her to call at 9:00 am my time before I sent the money. As I am still chating with her, I get 3 text msg from her through Yahoo. I read all 3, and all she said was george, it's Genevie, she also went by Genni. The number was 924-666-01 for the first text. The next two was a 924-665-01 number. What also got me wondering, was that she had said that she could not call, because she was out of mins on her cell phone. So awhile latter we said good night. She used the words  sweete, Sweets, Sweetie and dear. Who ever this person is, they put a ton of time into this SCAM. They had me so fooled, it was unreal. After we said goodnight I went and googled this 924-665-01 number and came across this site. As I started to read more and more I new that this whole thing was a scam. By the way, her Yahoo  e mail is braveheart4sure2010. This world really is a nasty, screwed up place. Anyways, I hope this msg helps other people not to get scammed by these fools.
