yes thi number called me under the name gladys.met on yahoo.knew it was a scam.from day 1.just wants money!!!!!!

I got txt from a 'woman' from this number who saw me on a dating site and she txt's really broken english.  I gave her my cell number, stupid me.  So from what I am reading this sounds like a scam?   I figured as much.  The girls description on the dating site didn't match the photos.  I can tell a 36D from and A in a bikini top.  Learned a valuable lesson.  She said she was single and 33, but the pics look like a 20 year old.

Steve is right, this seems like a ploy to get someone to join a dating/cheating website, like AFF.  I fell for it and I'm single. Thought it was odd, but was playing along waiting to find out the end of the story.  Still haven't.

my txt came from a girl called SarahHall315 from AdultFriendFinder, a cheating/swinging/singles site.  I know this because i'm a member..but i'm single, and the gir did have a yahoo address.

Word to the Wise, don't EVER give money to a person you don't know personally.  nuff said.

I received a text from this number. Sender claims to be in Alabama...doesn't add up

I've tried every way possible to block this number and nothing seems to work.  What I think is weird is that these text messages are coming on my boyfriends phone during the day while he is at work and sometimes only last for 20 minutes and sometimes it goes on for hours.  I find it very hard to believe that he is texting for 2 hours while at work.  Is it possible that someone can make it look like they are talking when he really isn't responding?

It's a scammer!!!! I’m not sure woman or man! I meet this guy online and we start to write each other… He wrote that he is in Iraq right now and wants to meet me, but to do so he needs me to write a “military leave” request.  Well…. I did so, and then he asked me for $300.00 as a fee… Grrrrrrrrrrr….so angry!!!   So it might be someone your husband meets online.

I would like to know who this person is because he has a lot of information on me and knows my buisness. Can u help me find this person and report him to the police?

This number destroyed my relationship with my boyfriend. The name that showed up was Kendra_Mitchelll44 and she kept being flirty. She claimed that my ex's friend had left his phone laying around and found his number and texted him because she wanted to get to know him. He kept texting her trying to figure out who she was. I flipped out and yelled at him and now he left me. He kept talking to her after he left me so in a way I am glad that it happened because it shows that he was trying to keep his options open. But really whatever this number it has ruined my relationship and I am sad about it.

I got the same thing, someone wanted a pic of me in my bra then he would leave me alone his email adress was "picofabra" or something. If I didn't give it to him he would put my number out on the internet. He knew my name, number, and e-mail adress. He said he found my name and number on a peice of paper on the floor, I didn't give anyone my number. We traced the e-mail adress to a yahoo IM account thingy. Then he asked if he could have my sister's number, I don't know if he guessed or knew, I asked why and he said she looked nice. Eww, she's 12 and I'm 15, I didn't read all the comments except for the first page, some of you seem older than 18. The number isn't blocked, but I haven't gotten a text or e-mail since then, a couple nights ago. My mom and the police both know. He said his name was Zachary Edwards

How do you trace the SMS from Yahoo?  They tried to scam our restaurant for $1800.00.  Name comes back as Morganchambers38.  It is someone that we know because they use our names.  Thanks!

Everyone is right. That Jonita Smith did the same thing to me too. She said that she was stuck in Lagos, Nigeria. I sent her money and she cared about me an stuff. She even sent me pics as well too. I told her a lot of times that she could go to the u.s. embassy and talked to them and she has told me that she has been stuck there with her mother. I got her out of a hotel, and to the airport customs except the next her ticket was canceled. She wanted me to take a loan out of 2800 to send to her. I told her no. I changed my phone number because she was texting while I was working. I want to know if this person is a scam artist? Also, I would like to know how I could get my money back from this person as well too. Should I go to the cops? Please let me know

Hello, I hate to say it but f you are getting texts from a number like that someone is talkng to another woman most likely.  I had it happen to me.  I was on a dating website.  The girl seemed so real at first.  Of course I wasn't ignorant so I was ready to see how she would play this.  After several emails she ask for my phone number.  Then she texted me through yahoo.  Yahoo has a program that sends texts.  Mostly people use it that are out of the country.  Well after just a little bit of texting she ask me if I could support her financially.  I knew it was coming.  I'm just playing with her head now.  She thinks she (or whoever) has me.  So to answer your question your husbands may have met a women on a free dating site & gave them his number. Especially if he is getting texts that are passionate, etc. I'm not saying that's what is happening, but it;s happening to me now.

this 92466501 number called the restaurant I work in yesterday, and wanted to order 200 chiefs salads and put it on a credit card and wanted my boss to add $1100.00 to the price of the order and the take $1100.00 dollars to a western union and send it to someone else, Supposedly for the person that was to pick up the order. So now it seems that there is a scam going to get money from people. This was all done by text messaging because the person making the order was supposedly deaf. Who ever it was became almost instant about giving my boss the credit card number. Thankfully my boss was really busy at the time and told the person that they would have to talk about it later.

Got a message from 924-664-01 that didn't make any sense.  It said "mingclockedilefxlr: Zs DW 9C  ORiq0U0X"  
Is this from yahoo as well?
