Three phone calls to my elderly parents practically saying they had arranged a call to visit to fit alarms . Tried to pressure them to arrange a visit until I called . Told them they were nothing but scum rail roading pensioners into getting something they didn't want and he said theyget numbers from a data base of which they pay good money for . This should be stopped !! . Mouth full of abuse and swear words off him untill I said if they ring them again or so much dare to arrive at the property tomorrow I shall phone the police . Beware people .

My mum got a call from Bulldog Security to arrange an appointment for a alarm demonstration. when mum told me I was dubious and decided to check them out. they are a legitimante company so I decided I would be present for the appointment. their guy came round to show the alarm system which seemed very good. however I told them that we didn't want a system at this time. their guy did not pressure me or mum and left straight after. which surprised me. I expected a pressure sales tactic. so to be honest I have mildly surprised in a good way. I don't like telesales calls but on this occasion the company seemed decent. I only read all these comments after. but to be fair they seemed ok.
also they did give me and mum some security tips which was nice of them.

2016 and they are still doing the rounds. Price is still£99. There's 3 ways into my house, through the windows, through the door and unless you are santa [***] claus you ain't getting in the third way.
Anyway.... That leaves doors and windows, of which all mine have locks on. Now I doubt they can replace all my windows and doors for £99 so they are of no use to me.
As for £35 per month..... if and only if I do get broken into and it happens to be on the rare occasion I'm not there, my home insurance covers me for everything.....New, and this costs me less than £20 mth. no sale there either.

Just incase I sound remotely interested in their product........ Their alarm is linked to a security network eh? So what? A thief will stick around for someone to arrive? Thought as much.

You will never stop someone entering your home unwanted unless you fancy putting bars across everything.  Best thing you can do is get good insurance in case the worst happens. At least you get compensated by a payout from insurance unlike a security firm such as this

I was called by this number and persuaded to have an appointment for security advice yesterday 22.1.2016. Assured no hard sell only 30 mins time taken. He came today leaving 2 hours later very disgruntled because I would not sign up for a 4.5k package. Looked good stuff but did not like the subversive hard sell tactics. It has left me very paranoid about locking everything when I go out today. I assume the call was generated by my Internet searches for contents insurance.

If you're tempted to get these people in, consider that any security company registered with National Security Inspectorate or SSAIB  ( Industry approvals/Inspectorate) are NOT ALLOWED to cold call. The reason Bulldog can do it is because they're not approved. Now ask yourself why they're not approved and why you'd deal with a company that wasn't.
