- BevMy elderly mother is being plagued by this company and she is receiving up to 4 calls per day - starting before 8am. She has no financial relationship with them and is now ignoring all phone calls because they are driving her mad. I've complained to TPS and checked that her number is already registered, and it is. Unfortunately you seem to only be able to complain to OFCOM about silent calls, and these aren't silent, so I'm taking it to Watchdog too and see if they can badger the company into submission.
They are parasites and should also be reported to the FSA and Financial Ombudsman as they are clearly unscrupulous.- Caller: Express Finance

- BananaStarted getting these calls last friday. On TPS, and ex-directory and no use. Also getting the 0203 number ringing. They rang me four times today. 3 times had live people (british) asking for three completely different people. Have complained to OFCOM and IPC and don't know what to do now. Liking the idea of billing them though!!

- JamesSick of these people calling me. somehow they have my mobile number and persist to call me at least 30 times a day. I am self employed and rely on my number for work but with these people ringing me all the time i am losing customers as the line is always jammed!
I have told them each and every time to remove my number but they haven't listened so i am going to take the company to court and sue them for harassment and losing me money.
hopefully if enough people take them to court then these idiots will be shut down for good!- Caller: Payday express
- JoeI feel like an idiot, I should have read these before I called back. I called back and unwittingly gave them my name and number and they said were asking for another person that wasn't me. They then said they will remove me off their database. I feel like such a fool because I'm only 17, what's going to happen?
- Nicola GoughJust received a text message from Express telling me I owe Arrears, I have never borrowed from these people!!

- Helen08:08hrs this morning, thought something had happened to a member of my family, answered (landline number) the phone, no-one there, waited a while then hung up. 1471 the call to find yet again 0115 9081162!!!!!!
Once when a female voice had spoken to me, I pushed to find out why they wanted to speak to my son, she hung up on me. I called the number and asked to speak to a manger. Put in a complaint, but only stopped them for a while. Fed up with them. - Richard MarshallThis company have called my telephone number at least 20 times this morning and when I finally answered I was met with a male who was determined to find information out about myself or my family. I informed the male that I would report this company for harassment and refused to answer any of his questions.
Since this call, they have phoned me three more times and I have had to turn my telephone off to avoid their calls.- Caller: n/k
- Sunshine7I started receiving nuisance calls from this number back last year sometime. One day I picked up and they asked for someone random (who has not ever lived in this house for a fact as the house was fairly new, and I know all previous 1 occupant and only myself have lived here). After that I started receiving more calls which I ignored always, they never left a message. Then they started calling my mobile too. I was already registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service and have been for several years). I never picked up calls from them nor hung up on them on the mobile as this tells them that there is someone at the end of that mobile phone if you do that. I have my moible on silent all the time anyway so they can ring as much as they like, I won't be picking up. However, today I was rushing to grab the phone, thinking it may be my daughter and a very nicely spoken man asked for a 'Richard Notthingham' He hesitated with the last name very slightly, which made me think and after telling him there was no one here by that name, he apologised politely and ended the call. Then the penny dropped and I realised it was this same number that I had checked out last year here on this site... yep....sure enough it was them again. As I had told them previously to leave me alone and to take my number off their data base, they are now in breach of that and I have lodged a complaint with the TPS. I tried to call them back withholding my number, a recorded message with what sounded to me, the same man who had called me this morning, advice that an advisor would be with me shortly. Thereafter, 'somoene' picked up the call and blew very loudly down the phone before hanging up on me. The company was called Express Line. The more you complain to TPS about this company and others, the greater the chances are that they will be stopped. Don't just complain on here, report them to the TPS!!! Today I have updated my TPS account with my home business number and my mobile number too.

- GrannyI didn't envisage spending my retirement answering the phone to companies like these. Pension spending has now included a new phone with caller display, a monthly subscription to my service provider to activate same and a call blocker. Guess what - they've worked out how to display a different number from the one they're actually calling from! Check 1471 & don't just rely on caller display. Caller display showed 0151800017 while 1471 gave 01159081162.
I now also use answering machine to monitor all calls and have been on TPS for years. Does anyone have a solution or do I have to get rid of the phone altogether?- Caller: Paydayuk?
- CalleI am sick to death of these people ringing and asking me to ring them - when you reply there is an automated message which says they are busy, please call back on a premium rate number - I never do this and they keep calling at all hours of the day and night - now I have found out who they are I am reporting them to Oftel
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mrs l roastI keep getting messages to someone called Paul, and they're saying I'm behind with payments but this is nothing to do with me as I don't owe anything to this company as I haven't heard of them or requested anything, it's becoming a right nusence
