Report a phone call from 012127773019 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Tintintrev| 1 replyI have just had the "Indian Man" (Kenneth) and his technician on the phone from iGlpobals, with an "s". With the same line of discussion. I said I was unable to let them clean up my hard drive now and asked for a phone number to call back when I was free. The number is 084 333 07347.
I thought I would check it out before I allowed them access to my computer and my "one off" payment of 46 pounds..... Please I checked this site......
Thanks!- Caller: iGlobals Computer Maintenance
- MegamummykinsA guy named 'Brian' called me from India, says he represents company called i-global. He insisted my computer had a virus and that it will crash very soon, if I don't follow his instruction. Strangely I had problems logging onto the internet that evening. He told me to go to Start menu / Run / type in eventvwr / Applications/ Filter....after that I just got P*****ed off and hung up. He would not give me his phone number and said he can only call on landline number, so was not able to discuss with my son on him mobile. Very unsettling and annoying.
- chelsea_steveMy wife just took a call from an Indian-sounding bloke. As many previous posts here, saying something about Microsoft, & that we were subjected to a virus, and he wanted to talk her through how to get onto the computer to fix it.
My wife said "you don't think I'm falling for that, do you? I'm not that stupid!", by which time he'd hung up.
Bloody scumbags!! - MaureenWe got a phone call yesterday from Jacob of I Globals telling my husband our computer has a virus. He told him to call back next day at 3pm as h was busy. He reported it to Police but they said they couldn't do nothing. Well they phoned back 4.30pm today. My husband told them he has not got a virus and hung up on them. My husband knows how to clean his own computer without foreigners hacking into his. They left a number this time. They did phone months ago and my husband told them then that there was nothing wrong with computer. Indian guy. I just hang up on anyone who asks for me or my husband.

- MAUREEN replies to TintintrevDon't waste your money. This is a scam and will infect your computer. My husband can fix computers and they told him his computer had a virus.
- AntonyReceived call at 11'oclock (1st August 2011) from 'Asian' lady - stating that they had received reports of 'computer problems' on my computer. I hung up. Not for the first time. Beware!
- Malcolm LambourneI received a call from this number this morning at 12.28 pm the man said I was having trouble with a virus on my laptop and he was from Microsoft. He had a very strong Asian accent. When I asked him how he knew my number he said it was my IP number from Microsoft! When I asked him what Ip meant, he couldn't tell. I told him I had indeed been having trouble with a virus, but I had now got it sorted. He wanted me to switch on my computer, but when I began asking him further questions he hung up on me. I believe he was probably responsible in some way for the problem in the first place and when he had discovered he could not now get back into my computer he was ringing to get that access back. He sounded like a very dangerous person to get involved with where computers are concerned, my advice is "hang up on him before he gets into his stride"
- Fran 5757I have had 4 phone calls from this number three of them no person speaking last one spoke who was indian said i had alot of alerts of an important nature. Informed this person that it would cost m money, said it was free of charge, handed me to another person who practically threatened saying that i had been scammed and check in one hour informed that i have no money thinking wether i should inform police of this or not. Obviously i am not the only person who is getting these phone calls. Who ever this person is they are sick and quite frightening i am only a novice on the computer unable to tackle problems thank god for mcavee who can scan for virus etc.
- Caller: said they were from microsoft
- Monica spyrkaHad a phone call today, asking for me by name. Gentleman with a very strong Asian accent, called himself Shaun. Explained that my computer had loads of viruses and that it was my primary protection which had expired. He claimed to be a microsoft technition saying that he would wipe out all the viruses, clean the hard drive, update the primary protection as the norton package we already have is secondary protection and after doing all this he would install the latest 2011 protection called Advanced System Software. All thuis for £69.99. I would not need to pay straight away they would send paperwork through the post and any credit or debit card will do. Said I can contact him on 08433307347, a company called Iglobal. When I said I do not pay the bills and would need to speak to my partner he asked why and who is he. Didnt feel quite right. Explained I would phone back tomorrow. He insisted that he would call me, but then relented and gave me the number as above.

- KezScam number do not call back!
Claim to be from microsoft and are able to repair your computer. Consumer direct aware and trying to trace it's origin- Call type: Prank
- DorothyTwo calls from this number, and no reply when I answer. I read somewhere that they check to see if the number is "active", presumably to call back at some time to sell you something.?
There should be some way to stop this and block these numbers. - sharonHad an Indian man on the phone today saying he worked on behalf of Microsoft and that my computer was sending error messages and had viruses that he would sort out for me! Told me to turn on my computer - when I asked which one he said "the Windows one"!! I asked him how I could verify he was who he said he was, his response was "I am trying to help you - turn on the computer". At this point I hung up (as I was advised by my 10 year old son!!) but within seconds the same man was back on the phone asking if I had turned on my computer yet!! I asked for a web address so I could check out the company and he said www.igloblals.com. He said they have offices all over the world including the UK - I asked him why he was calling me from abroad if they have offices in the UK (I could tell he was abroad as there was a time delay and I could hear my own voice echoing back) but he just said he was calling from India and didn't answer my question. So obviously a scam - so I ended the conversation. Will be reporting to Ofcom and the police!
- IrisJust had same call today, Asian man with strong accent, couldnt understand a word he was saying except I had a virus on my computer. He was insistent and in end I thanked him for his call and put phone down on him. Definitely a scam. Really makes me nervous that people can get away with this.
- Caller: dont know
- WoodyHad 2 calls today from this number pretending to be from Microsoft and that I had loads of viruses on my hard drive that threatened world peace or some rubbish. Wanted me to switch on computer so that they could talk me through removing the so called virus. Sent them away with flea in ear on both occasions, next time I will not be so polite!!
- Caller: Global Consumer Services
- SavvylassSimilar call to previous threads, very persistent Asian guy who said he got my number from the information on my computer, hung up on him. Saw similar messages on Facebook warning about this.

- SteveJust had a phone call from these Iglobal scammers. They use scare tactics to make the uninformed feel like they have some type of virus sitting on their computer, which is broadcast to the world.
They said that Ant-virus updates and Microsoft updates cannot remedy these malicious going-ons lurking within your system.
According to them - only they can help if you are prepared to sit down in front of your computer and open it up to them.
He (Indian accent) hung up after realising he would get nowhere.
Hope they call again so that i can blow a referee whistle down the line before i hang up on them this time. - AndyHad IGLOBALS phone, and have had them phone a couple of time eariler in the year. They want you to run eventviewer and then ask you to untick the information and read out how many events are logged, then "Oh my god we did not know it was that many" and then your computer is at risk, files and folders are at risk, etc etc, I will pass you to a senior tech, It will cost £68 for a year tech support, the guy became quite rude but I was playing dumb and asking questions, website is www.iglobals.net, hidden from Google (WHY) hosted on godaddy.com the registration is to

- alanBeen called by these jokers twice today !!!. He's calling back later, so I could do with a few pre- planned questions. They gave another number to call them on 08433307347. I wonder where this is ????
- psjThey've called me five times today. Haven't picked any of them up. When you re-dial the number, you just get a message saying the number is 'out of service'.
- FiI had a call earlier from these people. He went through the spiel of virus/turn on computer. Told them I was eating lunch so couldn't. He arranged to call back and I did some research in the meantime! When he phoned back I told him I knew he was a scammer, he asked how and I said online research. I asked why he did it - why scam people? He replied "because I have so much fun after I have scammed you" and then said something which sounded like b*****y f****r. I asked if he had ever heard of Karma and he hung up!!
