Who are these people and why do they do it?
Surely the authorities should act, as the number must be traceable to someone?

Yep my mother also got this call - wrong extension message about 21:00 - while I was out watching the Boro beat Barnsley 2-0.

rang 4 times, i answered, just got dial tone. Its 11.05pm!? out of order.

Same story. Called me at 11pm. Sick of this. Probably some company testing whether numbers are still active. Needs tracing to somewhere.

Just came to google this number - just got called at 11.05pm. Always expect bad news if someone rings so late.

Just called here 11.05pm, rang back and got a recorded message saying they had a fault on their system. Could be a scam, Wonder how much I got charged for calling them back?

Just had a call from this number too 23:15...not happy about that..thought it was a family member having an emergency! rang the number back and it was a recorded message summat about being a phone service provider whos having problems with their network...fuming!

Ok I have found out whats going on. It is a legit IT company that has had its phone lines hijacked by a foreign Company who have made unsolicited calls to us. They have been making illegal calls at the rate of 1000 an hour using the IT companies number. The company is looking into sorting this out ASAP. Hope this answers your questions.

same as all the above - rang 4 times (time = 23.35). didn't get to the phone in time.

Called at 11-40pm, woke me and my elderly mother. Picked up phone, but no-one there. Totally unacceptable at this time of night. I have no idea who this call was from.

called me at 1140 did a 1471 and pressed 3 to mreturn the call .. said something about a phone fault and to ring again... is it a scam ?

Date 07-03-12 time 00:34. Got a call from this no. They rang off before I could answer.

just got a call at 12.30am woke us all up now cant get to sleep!
