3.40am I got my call.  Thought there was somthing wrong with my parents, when I heard the phone!  Again hung up when I answered.  Is it one of those that trasfers you to a premium rate the second you answer.  I'll be checking my bill!!!

Phone rand at 03:15, and I think as the above said I heard a clicking noise and it sounded as if I got transferred to a premium rate number, the ones that charge £50 connection fee, I have heard those before , we have all lost some money and somone out there is sitting there smiling and getting richer by the second, this is ridiculous does anyone have any experience with ofcom, or whoever it is that deals with this? I would know where to start..please can somone let somone know..?

Looks like there is another number doing the same. 0121 but ending in 0003 (one digit difference).  Seems the number belongs to Magarethea Telecom but they say it has been "spoofed".  They have contacted BT who are investigating.  Suggest all on here contact their 'phone orivuder with this info.

Called me this morning at 0415, answered phone thinking it was an emergency. Nobody answered. Tried this number which is a legitimate company whos number is being used to make hoax calls. Dont bother calling this number back. An extremely annoyed (tired) pensioner.

Had a call from this number at 2 57am this morning 7th march,was very upsetting that time of the morning.Nobody answered.

I had a call from this number at 0207 hrs this morning. They rang off after 4 rings

Answered the phone at 04.15 this morning to hear that I'd dialled a wrong extension!!

got a call from this number at 03.50!!! rang for half a dozen rings then stopped. got number from 1471 when rang back just a dead line......

I got called at 6am this morning, tried to phone them back at 8am just a muzzled noise, really annoying couldnt get back to sleep, surely the telephone companies can do something about these calls!

This number called me at 02-41 wednesday morning, They rang off before I could answer. Couldn't get back to sleep.

Didn't answer as late. But the same as rest of you. You think somebody has an accident. Didn't know anyone in Birmingham area though.

Received today - no-one there - so left it off the hook and they put phone down.
Sounds more like a technical problem with phone lines by the sound of other people's calls -rather than a nutter!

This number just called me. No one there when I picked up.

Rang at 4 AM IN THE MORNING!!!!!! No answer when we picked up the phone. I wish they had so I could tell them exactly how much panic they caused. Nothing good comes of calls at that hour.

Yep - I got this callfrom the same number at 4.54am this morning. Woke my wife and 2 twin girls. Not impressed!!! =(

just rang me answered told me in a cheesy american accent this is the wrong exstention I hung up no idea who it is though worse luck
