I got one at 1.15 this morning, another broken night's sleep

Called by this number at 2335 last night. Didn't answer at the time but couldn't sleep as I have elderly relatives and always fear the worst when the phone rings at that time of night. So I went downstairs and 1471'd it. Couldn't get back to sleep afterwards. Thanks very much, whoever you are!!!

Got a call at 04:14 7 March and not been back to sleep since.  Did 1471 and got message line had been spoofed by a overseas company who are dialling 1000 lines per hour

This number rang us at 3 in the morning!! Not pleasant and it stopped before answerphone kicked in.

woke me up at 2 30 in the night

We got a call at 05.03. Woke everybody including young baby (baby already woke us twice in the night). I can't believe it has happened to so many people. Just used 1471 then googled the number. Thanks everybody for the posts at least It explains a bit.

i was woken by this number at 2.03am.It has happened before, these calls are very annoying.

I received a call from this number at 03.20 IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!    As you can imagine I was very worried.   On calling the number back this morning there is a long message from (I didn't catch the company name & couldn't get the message when I tried to call back again to clarify - cut off & states call cleared) the company stating that their phone line has been taken over fraudulently from overseas and that over 1000 customers an hour are being contacted.   They apologised and advised that it is being looked into urgently, but that the calls definitely aren't been made by them.   Seems to be some sort of phone scam.

Called at 8am rang off as soon as phone answered.

Am FURIOUS!! A second nights sleep ruined by the incompetence and social irresponsibility of this company who phoned at 4.54am, have been unable sleep since. The night before it was 3.35am! Why cant you disconnect your line overnight?? Why have you got my phone number anyway??  I shall be contacting BT about this matter who will probably hold you responsible.

Same as everyone else. Rang once before I picked up but caller hung up as soon as. Also early in the morning.

This number called me a 1.54am this morning.  When I called them back at 7.30a.m. they just hung up.

got  this call at 4-50 this morning ,only rang 3 times but woke both my hubby and myself  its very unnerving when your both oaps

I was wakened at 3am from this number...not happy as Dad is in hospital after major surgery and i was very worried it was them calling!!!

I got a call from this number at 5am. today and I was not amused.  I didnt answer as have caller display and didnt recognise the number.

Got a call from this number at 23:23 last night. I didn't answer and no message left. With so many people being disturbed at very anti-social hours, you would think that OFCOM or one of the other organisations would be able to do something about this? This site is so helpful as it is reassuring to know that you are not alone

that number been calling me for a few weeks now, rang this morning at 3.30am.............we have an ill grandson and i panicked and grabbed phone, didn't really get back to sleep...................if you ring it back its engaged, how do you block these numbers, anyone know???????????

I got a call from this number at 1am today.  When I picked up no one there.  I done 1471 and dialled back as I have relative in hospital and thought it might be urgent.  It was an answer phone message that replied.  I put phone down quickly as thought it might be one of those numbers where you get charged extortionate sums of money.
