Just had a call from this number. Nothing said, just silence. I normally ignore out of area calls or calls where the number is witheld but I answered this because it came up as a real number. Now it seems that I've got to start ignoring calls even when they come from real number. I'm not happy. It is so wrong that the law allows this to happen and most perpetrators get away with it scot-free. Have submitted a complaint to ICO. Took about a minute so no big deal. Not sure if it will help, though it's probably better than doing nothing.

Received call from this number today, automated, PPI I think no Company name. My  number registered with TPS so illegal call

Call received 11.04 am on 3 December.  Exactly as Keith on 28th November

Exactly the same as Keith on 28th November. Have reported this to the Citizens Advice Bureau who said they'll pass the details on to Trading Standards. I was asked to report it to a company called Action Fraud but as a fraud hadn't actually been committed, they weren't interested.
I too am registered with TPS but that obviously doesn't matter to them. I am worried that someone less savvy might press 5 or 9 and find themselves with a huge phone bill.

Telling me my time was running out to claim a refund then asked me to press 5 or 9.

Getting these type of calls all the time

Had a couple of calls now from this number. Says I have yet to claim a refund. I just disconnect each time.

Got one pre-recorded call last week and one today from this number.  After a long spiel, it mention PPI.

Will report to ICO but, in addition, I just bought a cheap Panasonic phone system bars specified callers.  Only works for cowboys like this who do radiate a number (01214690035).

Doesn't stop the overseas scammers or "number withheld" scammers.

This is an unsolicited frauduelent attempt to get inncocent people to sign up to a PPI claim scheme. They must be stopped.

Yep, got this same message and have had this call several times now.  What grates with me is that some woman sat and recorded a message about a refund I am supposedly owed (oh yeah!) that I must deal with.  Does this woman have no shame?  Why would anyone bother with this?  I suppose some mugs end up pressing the options.  I just let them waste money calling me and leaving them out of pocket.

Left a very garbled message on the answer machine.  Will await further calls which I suspect will come.  At present this is the first call from this number.
