Got a call from them yesterday 29.11.10 at 19.32 didn't recognise the number.Then when I did 1471 I was surprised when I realised it was 01234 567890.When I picked it up it was silent I kept the line open for about ten seconds or so and then just put it down.
It's interesting the info people have put on the discussion here-good work guys!

called to ask for house owner then asked if I had ever had house insulation grant from govt in last 11 years. Said I wouldn't tell her if I had and she told me to get lost - very irate she was too. Good eh?

Just had a call from this number - knew my name them when I refused further details the Indian guy said 'I have farted on your face !!!' totally abusive said they were from British Consumer ??

This number has called me about ten times over the past few days. first the asian guy with bad english says he's calling from windows care team and that I have malicious programmes on my pc. I know my computer is secure and told him I wasn't intrersted. He now calls and says he is from BT they must think we are all mug's. just be abusive he deserves it.

Just received call from 01234567890 and caller idetified himself as Morethan Finance concerning reducing unsecured debt

2 calls received this moning just after 8.00 am....Indian/Pakistan callers...doing Market Research !!!
How do I block them

I just had 3 calls this morning saying PRIVATE I answered the third as I am expecting bad news about a very poorly relative - after a few seconds, the recorded voice said 'Goodbye' - Who are these sick people? My only consolation is that I am not the only one - must go , the phone is ringing again - I see PRIVATE

i get a call from 01234567890 at least 3-4 times a day,really annoying cause the line is silent then some asian person comes on so i hang up. weird number,would like to know who it is.

Just received a phonecall from this number and like many of you it was silent! and then cut off.. weird! glad to see all your feedback though so i can check up on the number

Have had about 10 calls from this number in the past week, normally just silence, but on one occasion was spoken to by an Indian gentleman. As you said, he went on about a problem with my computer. I told them I had 3 computers, which one did they mean. He said all of them at which stage I politely thanked him!!! and hung up. Have had at least 2 calls per day since. I have registered this with Ofcom but they don't seem to be able to do much. My own telephone company couldn't identify the number either so looks like I just have to put up with it for now.

I've been getting them too since yesterday. This last time they got a mouthful of abuse too.

Watch it be something police related now >.<

The number was calling me from time to time.

We get a call from this number about three times a day. It isn't silent, though, it plays loud club-sounding music. It's wierd that everyone got different organisations when calling it, though.

I've been having this number call me everyday for a while now. I have caller ID so usually ignore it but this time answered and spoke to a woman from a company called something sounding like 'Imax' about my 'existing policy' with them, and did I have a life insurance policy. I simply said I wasn't interested and they'd be wasting their time and hung up.

I'm registered on the TPS list so shouldn't be getting unsolicited marketing calls like this anyway!

Got a call from them at 18:03 on 16th Feb 2011. Voicemessage, jut got background noise.
Waste of time.

Just got a call from this number - caller claimed to be from 'Sky' and appeared to know name of subscriber (is in phone book). No information was given to him, and was told "goodbye".

I answered after two rings and heard an asian voice laughing and talking to some one , then the phone went dead. What a waste of time....
