- lattes99 replies to Ann B| 1 replyJust had a call from this number, asian woman but couldn't understand her. Her English was rubbish. Waste of time passing it on to TPS, always the same answer from the "Sorry can't trace the number" Well, somebody must allocate the number.
- Welsh Chris replies to lattes99I have heard that it is possible for these cold calling companies to "spoof" the number that shows on caller display. You'd think that if they were doing this they'd have the brain to pick a number that looked like a genuine UK number! Many of these nuisance calls s originate from outside the UK, this one looks like it cames from India. If they come from outside UK, TPS and Ofcom are powerless.
- lisajust had a phone call from 01234567890 when i picked up the phone to answer all i could hear was music then a voice saying hello hello then she put the phone down
- MirabelleHad call from this number 9:13 am 5th March 2011 claiming to be the Windows Technical Team - on telling them I didn't run a WIndows machine the caller terminated the call without a word. A genuine caller would have apologised.
- Caller: Windows Technical Team
- GreedyjaneJust received from 01234567890 great number must have special deal with BT to get that number? Asian voice said he would help with checking my slow computer and internet connection? how did he know that perhaps he should ring talk talk my provider? said I was busy call back in the week.I wonder how many people he will be conning to get access to there computer today? One would think in these days of high security that the telephone companies or internet police could remove these scams at source but that may cut down on a lot of profitable calls and extra preventative software sales. If someone was to suggest that phone companies providers and all those involved in this market were encouraging and profiting would this be cynical.
- stephen wrightunknown caller
- Caller: na
- MarkHad a call th other day from this number - i think they left a 4min background message, surely this costs them?

- Tracfone User replies to Allan MackintoshHaven't recieved anything from 01234567890 yet..but I have been getting radnom 252 and 800 calls that I cannot return. Its odd that they have my number, yet it isn't listed in a phonebook. I don't understand it, but if I could figure it out, I would.
- harassedphoneowner replies to SteveiebabeThis has been happening to me for about 4 months.I get 'Goodbye 'sometimes.I think this is when they use an auto dialler and there's no one to take the call. When they do speak its an indian person asking to speak to my wife who is rarely at home .When' I ask who is it'.,they put the phone down and a few days later they phone again.BT wont do anything even though its their equipment being used to harrass me.They buy a copy of the phone book(with ex directory numbers included )and phone through that. The 'LEADS' are then sold or pasted on to another company to follow up.
So how do you stop them?
I tried asking them to stop, then being funny, then telling them to do one, whistling and lots of other things. In the end Iput on a womens voice, answered the questions..had I had a loan with payment protection. The next day I got a call from another firm(english)wanting to claim back for payment protection.
You probably can't stop it unless you give them what the want. But ANGRY people might want to get even. One way could be to give them some of their own medicine.
How would they like loads of calls like the do to us.
So which number to call.
The leads are generated by companies ...some in the uk.If you dial 141 first they don't know who it is.
I believe this company is

- Sue Nutt| 1 replyI was told it was Microsoft Engineer Department, and there had been a report because maybe I had tried to download something and virus software got in or something? (This is what the guy said - sounded like an Indian voice). Asked me if I could sit in front of the computer and switch it on. I told him No - not at the moment. He asked if I was one of the people in the household who used a computer - I said Yes. He said "go and sit in front of it and switch it on". I told him I couldn't - the person who deals with the computers here is away today, so he said "when is a convenient time to call?"
