Had a call am today. Answered but nothing at caller end.

This number called me and on the other end of the phone was a man with a foreign accent and he said he was calling from World Wide Web and detected a problem with websites being used from my home computer, I thought this sounded very strange so I replied with I don't have computer access at home and then he hung up on me. Very strange and very dodgey

Getting a little sick of these calls.  They cann't be trying to sell anything as there is never anyone there.  I think all cold calling should be against the law as it is just harassment.  If you want to buy anything I think we could find the supplier ourselves.  

Received a call from a chap called Brad, with a very thick indian accent, claiming to be from BCS Lawyers in Brighton. He knew my 1st initial & surname. Also had my old address. Said he understood that I had been in an car accident that was not my fault in the past 3 years. (I haven't) Played along, giving a false 1st name & confirming my old address. He is going to phone back to get more details off me later. (I like wasting their time :) )

Nuisance calls 1471 states the number as 01234567890. It from a company claiming they want to help claim for an accident. All nuisance calls from individuals with Indian Accents.  

Foreign lady called 'Mitch' asking for me by name.
She started to say she was calling to see if I had completed my tax return as she thought I was entitled to a tax refund.!!!
Fishing expedition wanting your details/personal information.
SCAM..SCAM..SCAM.
Do not give out your personal details to these people.

this number is hassling me all the time

Thanks to 1471 I found that this number had called me yesterday (25 Feb 14) - it rang off before I could answer it. It is obviously a false number; 01234 is the area code for Bedford.

01234567890 rang me and said theres a problem with my internet i said no theres no thanks for callinfg and hung up

Had a call on this number from Indian sounding gent, he said there is a problem with my computer and asked me to turn it on so he could show me the report. I stalled and said I was just going out and he would have to ring back. Number 01234567890 is a scam I think.

Had a call, claiming to be Microsoft about my computer.

Claimed to be Microsoft calling me back about a windows 7 error report, which is hilarious as i'm a technician.

don't give them any type of details at all!!

Constantly ringing who is it number not known to me

I am sick of getting callers from this number over the last weeks about 20 or more I keep ringing 1471 when it rings on one there

Picked up phone - no answer.  Electronic voice eventually said "good bye" and line went dead.  I assume call centre using auto dialler and I was too slow in answering my phone

Just had a call from this number they asked for me by name and told me i had a virus on my laptop,  i dont know how some random company would know this! i asked who they were and they said nine-tech i have never heard of them and do not have any sign up to a virus company of this name it seems really dodgy to me i told him to call back later he went a bit funny huffing down the phone and said he might be able to call back. This call didnt sound normal it seemed long distance and the line wasnt very clear

Silent call from this number at 18:08. Presumably using auto-dialing system.

The more people report these calls, the more likely it is that Ofcom will take action - it only takes a couple of minutes.
