This number continuously calls me and hangs up when I answer it

At least half a dozen calls from this number this week. As soon as I answer the phone goes dead.

I just had a call from this number and because the line was silent I just put the phone down. A pain in the backside.

Guy said he was John Wilson from a tech company. I'm sure that's not his name. He had a very strong Indian accent. He started by telling me my computer had been hacked. I asked him what operating system it was using and he said it was an Apple Mac, which I've never owned. When I told him that, he called me "bloody liar" and that I would be in a lot of trouble as this conversation was being recorded. I remained silent while he got more abusive and eventually he hung up. Obviously a scam of some sort.

Had enough of these calls so bought a 'call blocker' for £40.   Peace at last.   I had reason to dis-connect it last week and heigh-ho the annoying calls began again - the call-blocker is being connected again sharpish.

Some Pakistanian keeps calling my withheld number and asks for me and when I tell him to stop calling, he says bye and hangs up but keeps calling

Just got a call from this number. Male voice says it is about my partners e-mail address, reckons it will get blocked !!   Asked him  to e-mail her and explain the problem. Hung up . Obviously some sort of scam. Rang the number and after a few rings voice comes on to say "don't recognise the number"

I've had this phone number (01234567890), ring me so many times, my children have answered the call and they have had the caller put down the telephone... I have filters on my bt line so do not really know how this crank phone call is getting through???

This number has called me twice in one min but no one there

They phoned me today.  Thery said they were   Tiscali internet security. They said my  email account had been hacked  and that people from America were using it to demand money from people.  i.e. i was sick and needing £2000 urgently.  She  said her name was Alana and  ref. 2501AK. She said they wre usign  NEt STat.  She went on and on and on.  Then told me it was fraud and I must to something immediately. ........  I have reported  it to my  Internet Porvider.

This number has called me every day at different times for the last week. .....getting really frustrating when you answer the phone to be hung up on...when calling back it is unavailable. . Is there a way to screen calls to stop these calls coming through...

Obviously this is a spoofed number where the caller makes this number appear on your caller ID instead of the genuine number. If you see this number just dont answer the phone....... though if your reading this its probably because you already did and want to know who it was. Unfortunately because of number spoofing it could be anybody but to be spoofing a number they obviously are not a reputable company

My latest ploy with them when they call, is to lay the phone down without hanging up on them, for about one hour..... This runs up their phone bill. Only downside was, I got an email from my mate in Americe who could not get through on the phone, as it was engaged. :)

The number 01234567890 calls my home everyday .. Answered it only to be verbally abused by a foreign man, such as, "you f****** b****, you f****** a******!!!". I don't know what he wants. I was very upset and want to report this phone call and never want to get a call from this number ever again.

The number 0123456789 called my house nearly 8 times every day, answered it once, and a indian man told me to go "[***] myself"

This number calls me daily, sometimes 4 times a day. No one there, I just pick up and put straight down again now. Why can't we stop these damn calls?

I got a call at 8:45 last night asking to speak to me, as the voice was Asian and I know no Asians I demanded to know who they were and what they wanted which was ignored. They went into some sales pitch and I asked again who they were and what they wanted, she said how rude and hung up on me. I want to know where they got my number. I am being hounded by these people on my landline and my mobile

Receiving one a day of these calls.  Recorded message saying "Dear customer, you still have not claimed your PPI....." at which point I cut the call off. I am getting heartily sick of these calls.  Where I have a human trying to sell me something I tell them to remove me from their database but there's no way to do this with recorded messages!

Called earlier today asking for me about a private matter, unless I was willing to answer Security questions they were unable to tell me who they are! I'm registered with TPS I should not be getting these calls. After reading these comments I've blocked them calling or texting me. Hate marking calls!!!
