Mobile went dead when I answered.  Someone replied when I rang back saying "Greenacres" but closed line when I explained had just received a call.

I got a call too, went dead

They called me and I answered. Once I hit answer, they ended the call.

Same thing just happened to me. Call came through. I answered, it went dead.

Someone offered me refund from my insurance and had no idea about who I am and wanted to know all my details. Do not answer.

Missed call, no message

Caller rang me on my mobile and asked me to call back - spoke to a woman who said she was calling regarding clamimg money back from a policy. I thought this could be legitimate as my husband died a few weeks ago. I asked her to say what company the poiciy was with, she replied that she had a few questions to ask me and she was trying to help me. I questioned that she was trying to sell be something and she out the phone down on me. I called the number again and the phone was put down on me. This is a very quesionable number.

i get calls from this number all the time and they hang up. its somewhere in essex.

Got a call today from a lady asking for bank details as i had a refund for insurance, i asked her to hold as my partner dealt with the stuff and she put the phone down. very dodgy. normal circumstance invole a letter from the insurance provider them selves and most insurance providers dont give refunds!!!.

I had a missed call from this number and as it did not leave a message I googled it and found all these other people who have also received calls.

im always getting calls from this number and its starting to annoy me who is it ? does anyone know ?

Got a missed call - phoned back and they said it was Greenacres and about me claiming insurance refund from insurance payments. Phone went dead...

Just this second rang me, phone went dead when I answered. Obviously calling several numbers at once.

Claiming to be Grennacre - they are NOT. Say you can reclaim insurance protection for last 12 years. Say they are government run and ask you to go to companies house register and type in 05601260 company number (anyone can get this info). Ask for long card number, expiry, valid and security code on card to go onto the document they are sending out to you. DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS. I typed this number in (01253757064) and read some of the comments - THEY HUNG UP AS I READ THEM OUT. They are scammers - no government company asks for these sort of details. Even rang them back and another one of them went through the same spiel - whne i refused to give my long card number he hung up. They are pretty convincing BUT THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Called but no message

I received a call from this number which I missed. I rang them back and they proceeded to tell me that they'd rang me to offer me a refund becuase I'd been paying too much on my insurance. They wanted to refund me £59 and so they asked which account I wanted it returned to and then asked what my card number and expiry date was...after I refused to give these details they hung up on me. This is surely fraud...and I'd like to know which company has given them my mobile number...surely peopl eselling data have a responsibility to not give to dodgy companies...
