I had a text from this number  01256 638606 asking me to phone Becky Fuller urgently and quote a reference, i have never heard of them and dont have any credit so dont owe anyone anything, i rang but just got answer service telling me all agents were busy.

Just received this message , the same as everyone else from CARS "call becky fuller" and all that. I checked out the company on the web and I'm glad I checked this sight because it was very suspicious , how did they get my number ? Don't even bother to ring back, if anyone gets the same message.

I just got a message from this Fuller person, I called back then hung up and looked online to see who they were... came across this!!!  Needless to say, I won't be calling Ms Fuller back.

I too received a txt Today with the same Becky Fuller.
I replied to the Txt as follows.
"Could Becky Fuller write to me regarding this matter of as I do not respond to such requests by Txt. I also do not answer my phone to unrecognisable numbers. If you have my full name i presume you have my address. I await your Letter. Regards"
No doubt the original txt would have been automated but hey theres nowt like clogging up their systems with junk txts.

I too have had one of these texts. LoveFilm I expect; I cancelled the subscriptions as the DVDs never arrived.

Just got a message to call Becky Fuller urgently and quote ref number... then found this site... thats just horrific... should be something against this...

I got a text from these guys, "Becky Fulller". CARS Debt Recovery. It was for IGO4 home insurance that I cancelled over a year ago. £44!! I of course won't be paying.

just had a text from becky fuller urgently requiring me to ring the number and quote a reference, i always check numbers here first and 9 times out of ten its a scam. i hope she is waiting impatiently for me to call, if it was that urgent they would have rang not text

Had same text from Ms Fuller asking her to call her, I'm assuming its about my SKY account. The letter below explains what happened and why I won't be paying my alleged outstanding invoice.

I am writing to you with regards the above account number.  Around the beginning of February this year I telephoned SKY to advise that I need to cancel my subscription from the 28th March 2012. I was told that I could not do this so far in advance and would I call back again nearer the time.  I therefore called again in March and advised that I would like to cancel my contract from :-

I then subsequently cancelled my direct debit after my last payment was made. However I then received a letter of FINAL WARNING. On telephoning SKY I was then told that I had “not” called as you had no record on your system. Which I find strange as how would I know to call back nearer the time as your system doesn’t allow for cancellations to be made two / three months in advance. The customer service operator was adamant I had not called and as such the discussion hit a brick wall. I then asked if I could speak to a manager but was told that I couldn’t as this matter didn’t need escalating.  After explain to the  customer service operator that I was not happy I then insisted a manager call me back to resolve this issue,  the customer service operator told me “she” would call me back at 3pm on Monday 2nd July. This I reluctantly agreed to as we were going round in circles at this point.

I did not receive any phone call at 3pm on 2nd July, so I telephoned SKY again on 3rd July and had exactly the same conversation with another customer service operator. I asked why I didn’t get a phone call; she apologised and said that there was nothing on the system that the first customer service operator was going to call me back. I was then told that I need to contact you in writing in order to resolve this situation.

The points I would like to raise is that you said I didn’t call to cancel as the call is not logged on your system, I said that I did. I wanted to escalate the issue and was told I could not. I was promised a call back, this never happened and as its not mentioned on your system I’m assuming you think I made that bit up as well.

I have been a SKY subscriber since around 2003 and have always had the full package and always paid my bill. I am, sorry was, looking to have SKY installed at my new home however this issue is now tainting my decision.  I also don’t wish to exchange written correspondence back and forth for the next few weeks until we reach a conclusion; so would appreciate a phone call instead.

So far no call just texts from Becky Fuller.

A text to someone ELSE'S mobile (works) asking me to call Becky Fuller on blah blah ... Reference blah blah ... looked up the number on Google as I didn't know what CARS was and didn't recognise the number and found this place. I've never been a member of a gym in my life, never mind Fitness First. I've never joined LoveFilm either so can only assume it's because my old place of employment never paid their bill for their landline/phone service so why text THEM asking ME to call THEM? No good talking to me - I don't work there any more. I've not set foot at their place since May 2011! Weird. Anyway I'm not calling them. If they call me, I'll put them in touch with the person who they sent the text to in the first place. No skin off MY nose! lol

got message also and they rang today from this number 07515585775 same thing Becky Fuller on 01256306797 quoting ...ref... also i was with fitness first and had love film account??

I got a text - Becky Fuller - Text was from C.A.R.S. same as above.

I deleted it after finding this page. I haven't had any mail off this company at all

(on another note i do know of a credit collection agency that is genuine called CARS. It is a company that handles insurance debt on behalf of BISL but they will send you lots and lots of letters to discuss first before calling etc.)

Seems like this scam is still active :(

I had the same text message as Nav. Don't have any debts. Checked the number on the Internet as thought it was suspicious. Feel reassured. Not calling them.  Thanks

just had text from CARS asking me to contact EMILY urgently on 01256 306797 quoting a ref.... called number asked for EMILY and was told was it becky fuller i wanted said no text says EMILY. Stopped as far as givuing my name and siad i wasnt happy taking call further and wouldnt give postcode, wouldnt say what it was regarding only that it was a "personal matter".  She said they would write to me!

Just got a text off them asking for my parter to call.. saw this site and thought no chance, but called up just incase...

turns out they're actually after money we apparently owe from cancelling insurance whilst still 'within contract', money we've told them they will never get from us!!

seems as though they're not always bogus callers, but they just chase after silly debts that other companies know people will never pay.

Just ignore them!
