yeah i stopped paying lovefilm and forgot to send back some discs and then i started getting these text messages. what did i expect lol? sent them back now so will see what happens.

you and i are all very silly people for getting in this mess lol. time to pay back our debts.

It's not a scam, it's a debt recovery company, who work on behalf of various creditors, one of which you will have a debt/outstanding balance with. It's funny how looking on the internet automatically makes something a scam..have you thought who you might be scamming? If you're not scamming anyone you wouldn't be getting contacted by debt recovery agents! :)

Total non sequitur.

My partner has just received a text message for me saying to call this number, they are chasing money for insurance that was cancelled in march and the insurance company were being greedy, they had their money now all of a sudden from a £24 debt it seems to have shot up to £79.69 but after ringing the insurance and finance company they have confirmed that i do not owe them money, so dont pay them unless you have checked it out properly as they seem to be robbing B&*"£RDS!!! They certainly wont be receiving a penny of me!!

Just got the same text from CARS asking to call Becky Fuller but have no outstanding debts to my knowledge. I would have expected to see some communication from company I actually owed money to before a debt collection agency was put on to me. Highly suspicious so am not going to call them....

Now using the name Becky Fuller.  I have never even been a member of Fitn ess First - let alone cancelled!

Disagree a little - I am bing chased for Fitness First - I have never been a memeber - in fact I wasn't even in the country at the time!  So be wary - better safe then sorry, I am sure they are legitimate but perhaps sometimes their information is outdated or wrong?

I received a e-mail asking for another named person to contact Becky Fuller urgently quoting a reference no.
As the message was sent to my phone I rang and asked who they were. A rude man refused to say who they were or what it was about.  When I asked why they had sent a message to my phone I was told that the message was not for me. When I asked how they got my number he became very irate and I told him I would be looking into the matter.  I then hung up!
How do these people get your number?

I have just recieved a text from C.A.R.S. asking call Beky Fuller Urgently on 01256306797 quoting a ref number

I have not called them back, nor will I having read about them on the web.

My wife has had a mesage from them in her old married name, and it says "PLEASE CONTACT BECKY FULLER URGENTLY ON 01256306797 QUOTING REF NO 5117995" Thank you to all these comments as it's not going to happen!!!!

Got a message from Bucky fuller called them and they wouldn't speak to me unless I gave them all my personal details sent a txt back saying G.F.Y.S,s it's a scam I don't owe anyone any money
