I also got a missed call from this number.  I am based in Scotland, and this number code is for Alloa in Scotland which is further North that I am.  I called it, and it rang in an international mode.  Immediately hung up as all numbers in the UK should ring as 'ring ring'.  Very dodgy.  Don't phone.

Got a call from this number. It was silence for a while then a man said 'Hello is that Peter?' I said yes then the phone went dead. I think they want people to call back & spend loads on the phone call.

I Had 3 calls from them yesterday i didnt answer like other people  said if i dont recognise the number i let it ring !!  some one with a different number even rings my house phone i get my partner to answer an know is there ...

keep recieving calls from this number, when I answer the phone goes dead and no-one answers. Is there any way of getting this stopped?

Got as call from this number to my mobile today.  Hung up when answered.  having seem the comments on this page won't be calling or answering.  Would like to know who / why is behind it...

Got a call off them just now, thank god I google numbers I don't recognise! Will be passing this number on to all my friends to make sure they avoid answering it! If I had debt and needed to get out of it they would be the last people I would call anyway! I work in law, trying to find breaches in back contracts - IDIOTS! Do you research and pay for advertising, much more likely to win customers over that way!

I jus had a missed from this number had no clue who it was n wondering how they hav my mobile number wen only my friends n family have it!!I never had a voicemail or anything so can't b that important!?! Wat idiots!!!

Anyone have any clue what they are gaining out of phoning us, not speaking then not even answering the regular rate phone number. If it was an 0898 and they answered I would understand the scam but I'm not entirely sure what it's all about. Confirming the phone number is active before selling it on?

I also had a call from this number today, I didn't recognise the number so didn't pick up.

My son has a mobile phone which he just uses as a toy. No one at all has the number for it and there has never been any credit on the sim card as its just used as a toy. (Its a very old basic one obviously). Anyway this number rang his phone today. He was delighted to have a real phone call so answered it before I had chance to stop him. It just made loads of weird beeping sounds then went dead. Very odd!

Just had a call from this number - it's sunday lunchtime and I told the caller it was inconvenient.  However did get her to say that company was called Consumer Credit Services.  Have tried ringing the number back but just rings out.  Also I note from my call history that they have called me several times previously.

Have also had several calls from this number but missed them all.  Tried calling back once, somebody answered but did not speak.  Thanks to this site, I know not to bother with this number again!  All sounds a bit dodgey to me.

...I think it is a number connected to phones 4 u as I have my contract with them too.  Maybe they have passed on details?  I shall be letting offcom know about this.

Got missed call on the 12th June from this number (01259300001) - interesting to see that so many others have as well.  I will be emailing all family, work colleagues and friends to tell them to avoid answering if this number calls them.  Too weird really.

I have just been called by this number 5 mins ago, I said hello twice then they hung up :@ stupid f**king loosers !!!

I had a missed call from this number tried to ring it back and no one spoke!! Fraudsters if you ask me!
