Rang back and they answered the call, but the ringing continued. They play back a ringing tone so you're unaware they've answered and can charge you for the call. Sneaky so-and-so's.

I called them back and it seems to be a Welsh Payment Protection company

Just had a call from the number 10259300001 answered and there was no one there ....  Crap!

I got a call from this number, when I took  the call, they hang up. I called them back again, but no one's taking the call.

Just got called by the same number 01259 300001 so just googled and it brought me here.
I got my phone on contract from phones 4 u as well so I think they have passed my details on.
not happy! wont be calling them back after what I've read on here.

I recieved a landline call, to which they hung up, then a five minute call on my mobile. I asked twice the name of the company and requested to put all in writing. He said he was from the goverment and could gain any outstanding finance claims I might have incurred. He did run out of answers and I just cut the call off, please be aware of this number.

Just had a call from this number, answered and no one was there, funnily enough after being on the phone to O2 customer services, not sure if they are linked but something smells fishy.

Got a call from this number - 01259300001 although i was on the phone at the time so i didn't answer. Thanks for previous posts as it's saved me the waste of time calling back. Registered with TPS and have never given out my number to companies, so no idea where they've got it from.

got a message saying get debt free claim money back very pushy dont know how they got mobile number please watch what you are doing with these people

Just had a call from this number, when I answered nobody spoke and they hung up immediately. I didn't call back and 'Googled' the number - and here I am - glad I didn't call back. You would think people had better things to do!?

just had a missed call and when i rang back it was international ring so hung up. some scam or other.

Today i got a call from this number. datails follows..

He said that 'he was calling from 'Consumer credit services'.

- he gave me his details first as ' Mr. Lee Jackson, and some address and some phone number.

- asked for my mortgages, credit cards, bank loans, etc.

- i said i have just a credit card with 'X' Bank.

- he asked me for present balance and card limit.

- he said that bank have 2.1 Million, so they are going to give compensation for every customer and me going to get nearly 1000 pounds.

- he asked me full address details, and finally came to bank card details.

- but here i told him to call after some time becuase i been busy with college work. in mean time i had googled on the number which was given by him and he called. i havent get any details for the number he given but had got this site by number which was he called.

- after some he called me again with not only same number, with also several different numbers followed as 01264243000 and 01252235102. but this time i simply havent answer the phone, if i get call in future im going f**k that people.

- So guyz Becareful from unknown calls..

I Had a missed call this morning off the same number, who are they ? Im worried, I've tried to phone them back and no answer :S

I think someone should either contact the police or consumer watchdog about the number then post back here when they find out more about it, I've had loads of calls from them now, all missed, and it's starting to bug me.

Had several calls from this number over the last week - I never answer calls I don't know but tried ringing it back but it just rang out - an international
ring.
My mobile phone contract Was up for renewal with 02 at the same time as these calls started and also constant calls from various numbers saying they r the carphone warehouse.  
This number is def related to private information being shared from 02 or the phone company in my opinion - a complete scam and a big headache!

this number rang me its international number and goes on your bill so beware, there selling mobile phones like i need somebody to ring me up and offer me a phone when every tom, dick & harry is selling them !!h6

Got a call from number 01259300001, the guy was on about some credit history and told me i could be reimbursed from previous loans. I cut him off... : )

Just saw a missed call, no voice mail msg a bit spooky.
