Received a missed call from this number & tried to call them back to see who they were, but the number just called out, the ringing tone sounded asif it was a foreign number. No answer..

I have just had a missed call from them, couldn't answer it because I get hardly any signal at my desk. I used the works phone and called them bakc using 141 at the beginning and a girl from a call centre answered and rabbited on about being misold loans and asking me if I had any outstanding loans or credit cards. I explained that I didn't (Which I don't apart from my mortgage) and she said sorry we bothered you and hung up.

Weird!!!

Had a missed call from 01259 300001 today, no voicemail left...  I'm registered with the TPS, but I still keep getting phonecalls like this one, very, very annoying!

This number called me 5 mins ago didn't know who it was but nobody on the other end of the call so I hung up.  How annoying!!!  Rather than phoning them back I googled the number and found this.

this caller is driving me crazy it's constantly calling me then hanging up then i answer! i try n' ring it back then it's a different ringing tone than usually.
they rang at 9:17am in the morning today 02 july 2010!

Hey, had a call from these as well. Didn't answer tho as I don't answer numbers i don't know. Seems to be a pasky nuisance company alright by the looks of these comments. Hmmmm don't get mad, get even is a pghrase that comes to mind. How about this as a way to p*** them off?

Like the messaging sites can organise a mass rally/event etc, why not plan a mass phone call onslaught to them on one day, from a local phone (or shhhh, one at work for that matter..I said Shhhh!) and tell them your interested in claiming tax and stuff like that. Say your Nick Leeson (see google) Geoffrey Archer or Ken Dodd and really wazzzzzzz em off. Payback

I got an iPhone on o2 and I got it from carphone warehouse and the amount of strange people calling me is untrue .. Must get 5 a week .. 02 are hopeless in sorting it out .. My advice is to get your mobile from the provider it's self

Yep, I bought my Vodafone also from Phones 4 U. Makes sense now!! I wonder how many others?!

I called it back. It was my mum. I hadnt heard from her in 20 years. I am just glad I didnt log on here first!

I got a call from this number but missed answering thank god ,but after reading all the comments here i shall not answer if it rings again

I just got a call and googled the area code and it was for Alloa in Scotland! So bloody random! I dont no anyone in scotland I live in the south!!

Was having a problem with my password for Verified by Visa. Immediately I finished talking to them on home phone, my mobile rang very briefly from 01259300001; I didn't answer and no message was left. Coincidence? I don't know.

Missed call, the number looked familiar so I called it back.  It rang a few times and then went silent.

Phone rang, hung up after 4 seconds, After putting the number on google, their call center is based in Alloa. After reading the above I will not be answering again.

all I done when I was phoned by this number and then they cut off was, phone them back and said I was PC conner (my local policeman ;]) and said that some one has just reported this number to me and I'm ringing to find out some information about them.......... hopefully they won't be ringing me again :) give it them back :)

i dont know why consumer credit would be calling me, im only 16 and still at school?

Hahah just withheld my number and called them back, a woman from a call centre answered, i didnt say a word and made her sit there and go "helloo? hello?" then i heard her go "oh its just one of those stupid pranksters again!"
me a stupid prankster? lol no, they are from what these comments are saying!
payback is sweeeet. :)

These called me earlier and said they were from consumer credit and asked if I would like to reclaim some charges from ppi etc... Told them that I had never had to pay for these and the man at the other end then hung up!!!
