Got a text message from this number at 17.14pm today saying I had missed a call from this number. My mobile's log had no record of a call being made to it, in fact I had the phone on me and had a clear signal when the call was supposed to of been made to me. THERE WAS NO CALL.

I have had experience at running and marketing mobile services including text services for several years. I would say that this is a text marketing service provided for the company above in order to generate calls to it's telesales team. Far cheaper to bulk purchase text messaging from a messaging platform than get people to make sales calls to you. Also done at the click of a button or programmed to send out at particular times. With reference to the originating number, it's possible to edit that within the message format so it could of come from any country! Ignore then!

I have had two calls today from this number...as other people I do not answer numbers I do not know, i let it go to voicemail and decide if I call it back or not.  I called the number back tonight and the girl that answered spoke so fast I never got the company name...I never spoke and she never repeated herself!!!! Strange....How are they getting these numbers????????

I kept getting all kinds of sales calls so I then called TPS and now I only get this one number 01259 300001 but TPS have said that they are investigating the number and told me that over time this will stop happening.

TPS is 100% free and it can also be used for your mobile.

I had a call from this number yesterday afternoon.  I don't tend to answer calls from numbers that I don't recognise.  They haven't called back yet but expect them to so wanted to try to find out who it is before they do.  I won't be answering calls from them!

unsure who they are but very annoying!

i got a call from this number just a few mins ago, i did ring it back and it had a long distance tone, but it rang for ages and no-one answered it, i gave up then like all the above i googled the number....thank god no-one answered the call i could of being paying a fortune for that retuned call, im going to take all the aboves advice and only answer call that i identify

Received a call from these people today. This jumped up female cold caller contacted me asking how i was doing today ...... immediately got my back up as i hate these type of calls. Once this lady stated she was from consumer credit services i said im sorry i havent got time now for this and i wasnt interested in anything she was trying to sell me. She got really rude on the phone by repeating " oh your not interested in what " over and over again. Then i said i was busy and didnt have time for this, so she said she would ring back another time and hung up. I know its stupid but i rung them back and lodged a complaint with the manager ( not that it will make a blind bit of difference, but did make me feel better ). Dont worry if this number rings your mobile ..... ignore it, they are a bunch of time wasters and not very nice on the phone either ..... flipping cold callers do my head in and there should be a law against it !!! ( ........ rant over !!)

Someone calls frequently from this number. I just don't answer anymore.

I got a missed call from this number and when I called it back a lady answered claiming to be a Rachel Jones from Consumer Credit Services in Llanelli. She said she could get my credit card debts wiped out and money back from my mortgage, loans etc. It sounded too good too be true and as the saying goes, it probably is. She told me that they charge £199 fee for processing my claim and asked me for my credit card details. I smelt a rat when she said that and told her I didn't have them so she arranged to call me back in a couple of days.

I have checked up on the number that she gave me (0844 3843168) and apparently  this is a scam and that the genuine company never make cold calls. It seems that anyone calling from 01259300001 is someone masquerading as Consumer Credit Services.

thanks for the info. i literally just had a call from this number, which i googled and it said it was an alloa number, i live in england and know no one in scotland but there was no message left either.

They've just rung me this morning, only let it ring 4 times and then hung up. I dont have a voicemail so they couldn't leave me a message. I tried ringing them back but it sounded dodgy so hung up. Will avoid this call, I'd love to reclaim my bank charges but wont bother!

i had a missed call from this number whilst i was on duty(nurse). i feel stupid for ringing back but i panicked because i live 260 miles from home, my mother is being treated for cancer and her area code is 01259.  each time i rang an automated voice stated i was being connected - god knows how much they've conned from me

Answered a call from them today.... i asked how they obtained my number , she told me they are given access to my number via loans or credit cards in my name?
I have one credit card which is a joint account and my mobile number isnt even on the file!
She said they were trying to help people who pay protection payments on loans etc to get their money back. Telling me they can get me loads and loads of my money back on payment protections i have been paying for years.  
I told her i wasnt able to talk due to being at work , she said she will contact me at more suitable time.
I wont be answering this calls from this number again - sounds dodgy!!

Recieved a call from this number on my mobile.  How do you stop them?

just got a call from this number, was reluctant to answer as didn`t know number, when i answered it was silent and then after saying hello twice, they hung up! i did not call back !
