Rang number back and couldn't get connected.

I had a missed call from this number but checked on internet first to see where the dialling code is for.  Its something based in Scotland - as I was suspicious as I know no-one in Scotland I googled the entire number and found this site!  I'm on 02 Pay and Go if that is of any use to anyone!  I won't be calling them back or answering any calls from them!  I had another company a few weeks ago pestering me about payment protection insurance, made a complete nuisance of themselves but after I didnt answer their daily calls for about a fornight they gave up!  It was not this number I hasten to add but began 0845.

Got a call from this number telling me they wanted to help me reclaim the mis-sold payment protection insurance I had paid.  Firstly, I have never paid for payment protection insurance as I didn't need it and secondly, I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service.  When I told them about TPS they tried to tell me that I can't be and that I must be wrong!  To avoid these calls get yourself registered with TPS (it's free at www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ ) and then wait 28 days.  After this period you should no longer get these sort of calls as they aren't allowed to phone you.  You may still get a few but I now get a lot less than I used to.  And also, don't ring numbers back that you don't know or you are now paying for the call.  If it is important or anyone that really needs to speak to you they will leave a message or call back.  You really aren't missing anything by missing these calls!

Got a call from this number few times this year!
First when i pick it, had a family running beckgroud noise.
When they called me yesterday, they told me they from Reserved Hotel and i won a free weekend in Jersey! So i hung up, but today they call me agai.
What makes me angry, how come they got my name and day of birth?

But how come they got our details like, day of birth and adress?

Just had a call; answered it - slight background noise and when I spoke they hung up.  Will not be calling back after reading posts.  I must say it is worrying - is there any way when you answer they can hook on and access personal details?

I have had too many calls from these type of people now, there must be something that can be done to stop our privacy being violated, as 1 lady mentioned earlier l also am with Phones 4 U perhaps this is significant. They need to be looked into.........................

Had a missed call in the middle of the day. Had the same experience as many of the above.

Telephone number 01259300001 called my mobile and as I was driving I left it. Seeing the last 3 digits were the same as my daughters number, I thought it was her and rang straight back. When I asked who it was, they said something like "Consumer Services" so I told them I was actually in France, that this call was costing me money and that if it was a sales call I wasn't interested - at which point they hung up - Be Aware!

Had a missed call on mobile this afternoon.  Careful with who I give my number to so am a bit surprised to have got a call in the first place.  Rang 6 or so times before hanging up and I googled number and ended up here!!  Definitely a pest.

just had a welsh guy phone my mobile no offering to clear all my debt, thought i had won a watch lol  he wanted card details over the phone which i said i was not willing to give. just dont give these clowns nothing keep them on the phone for as long as u want, question everything they say and then say no thanks he was not very happy!!! nice one.

got a call from this number some mobile sales marketing company trying to sell you a contract. I think it's about time that everyone with a mobile contract partition the government to stop mobile companies from selling your information to other companies. I mean whats happened to the data protection act? This would put an end to all the nusiance calling.

I received a call to my mobile from this company. When I answered, they hung up.

I keep receiving lots of similar calls and I think it comes from when I entered competitions online and entered my mobile number, because the calls have only started since then.

Thanks for advice, as they have just called me.......... i never answer a call from a number that rings my phone as anyone who is calling my number would be saved under a name...........

this will be an automatic diler and what they do is start at 07000000000 and then 07000000001 ect and just keep's dialling numbers ,when we answer the call it will be passed to an agent at the other end of this system ,if no agent are available it keep's you on hold for about 10 seconds and then will just cut you off and your number will go back in the mix , hope this helps

I had exactly the same as you, and its July ... thinking phoning orange to get their number investigated....

If you get a silent call from this company report it to Ofcom.

They will only do anything if there are loads of complaints.

i also got a phone call from this number but when i answered they said nothing.
