just had a missed call off this number no msg left i tried to ring back no answer so i typed in number in google as i didnt recognise area code and found this site! i am confused as to what they want and why they would want to ring me!lol

Consumer Credit Services; cold calling to recover money paid when you were mis-sold loan protection insurance ...

I have had these 2 numbers calling me every 3 hours- 01259300001 and 08712659865 to my mobile when you pick up there is silence then they hang up, now when they ring i just answer and leave the phone on side of the tv and turn the tv up full blast!!! would love to find out who these people are and have there home and mobile numbers and ring them all day and nite!

Got a call off these muppets this morning offering me their services with regards to the mis-selling of insurance and mortgages.

I explained that all of my residential, personal mobile and work mobile numbers were registered with the TPS to which they responded that the mobiles needed to be logged on the MPS (Mobile Preference Service).

The clowns clearly a) don't realise the TPS & MPS are one and the same thing, or b) couldn't care less about the TPS & MPS.

Anyway complaint raised and logged with TPS.

Answered a call from them, they hung up so i decided to look the number up.

Found this and saved number as ignore, cheers for the info.

Also sent out a text warning people about them, figure the more people that are informed the less chance they'll have to con people.

I have received 2 x phone calls from 01259300001. The first call just had back ground noise. The second call I missed, no message left. I will not be answering this number.

Just got a call from them but didn't bother answering because I didn't recognise the number, so I looked up the area code on google. Don't they have anything more constructive to do in their lives...

Just had a phone call at 19.44pm from 'Jamie at Consumer Credit Services' on this number.

He asked how I was and I promptly asked him does he have a life? He replied yes, so I said 'well p*ss off and stop bothering people at this time'

And then I put the phone down. I hate cold callers, especially at this time of the day when you're trying to relax after a hard day at work.

I have now had 3 missed calls from this number on my mobile No message left and I have not called back either. Think I saw on a Watchdog programme that a scam doing the rounds is where you call back and unknowingly, the number is a divert to an overseas line that charges £5 p.m. and you are unaware of this until the bill arrives.

I'm not saying this scam applies to this number, I'm just saying take extra care xxx

Call to my mobile from these morons. Answered it and they hung up straight away.
When is someone in Government going to take the bull by the horns and make cold calling a criminal offence I wonder?

this number called my mobile today, I answered the phone but it was hung up immediately. Strange

Call to my mobile at exactly 9pm! As always I ignore unreconised numbers (if important they will leave a message) Guess not! No voicemail, but after reading above I will be blocking number next tine they call!

Phone rang, I answered, and they immediately hung up.  The sooner we get legislation to inhibit this sort of thing the better.

I just received a missed call from this number.  When I called back the dial noise sounded very strange. A man answered saying "Consumer Credit Services". When I said I had received a missed call nothing was said - he didn't even hang up, there was just silence.  After a minute i hung up and called back. No one answered.  They seem seriously dodgy to me.  Don't bother answering or calling back this number.

Answered and they hung up.  Googled the number & found this.  Looks like they're busy on the phone!

Had a call from this number but the line went dead when I answered. I was suspicious because I did not recognise it. I never return calls to unknown numbers, so I Googled it and found this website. If I get any more calls I will ignore them.

next time they call say you was mis-sold insurance and if they hold you'll find the paperwork as its in a folder.  Then put the phone on the side, have a nice cup of tea, watch some tv,,,and let them stew.
