Just got my first call from this number on my mobile ... They did not speak so I put the phone down ... If people are getting more than one and they are not speaking, make a note of date and time etc... and report it to the police as harassment calls... that should stop the problem !!!

I got a call from this number, 9.30 on Bank Holiday Monday Morning.Still in bed. Tried to answer it as I don't like to pay for voicemail but as soon as I pressed answer button it went dead. Not impressed! Found your website like a lot of people, I can see, by googling the number.

Ive been getting called daily by this number for a week and today i called orange. I was told this number was coming from the internet, not a phone operator.

    They said i had 2 options;

    1. go to my local police station and tell them about it and that i want a crime number. Call orange and give them the crime number and they will then take action in conjunction with police authorities on the person calling.

    2. Change my number.

I opted to change my number but I might go to the police just for the hell of it.

Just had a missed call from this number.

I also had two voicemails from 5am this morning, which was just line noise. I thought it was strange but now I think it may be this number. Why they would call on 5am on a Bank Holiday is beyond me!

    Got it right now 18:58...
16 second call... I thought I actually might have known who they were...

Maybe it's an automated caller finding out online numbers so they can send adverts. Who knows.... Just a little annoying.

Got a call just now at 9.20am on 1st June 2010 from 01259 300001. I answered and there was no-one on the other end, not even a background noise. Definitely ignore this if they call you....I just hung up after about 5 seconds.

I got a call from this number on Mon 31st May 2010.

    Conversation went thus

Caller: "Hello, this is the consumer credit service"

    Me: "yes?"

Caller: "it's alright, there's nothing to worry about. Have you heard about the new government scheme to reclaim miss-sold insurance and mortgages?"

Me: "Listen, pal, I do not respond to cold calls, now f*** off".

Now, I do have some debts I am paying at a reduced rate until I can find gainful employment, so at first I thought this was a genuine call. Not being a 'worrier' I was a little concerned, but no great fears as I tell them to take me to court and I'll tell the court the same as I tell you, I can't afford any more at the moment and produce documentation to prove it. Somebody in the same situation and less robust may have been very frightened indeed.

It was only after I sat back down I realised they had called me on my mobile. So how did they get my number, since only close friends and such get my mobile number? I don't even give it to employers or anybody else such as the Benefits Agency?

If and when I track them down to an address, I shall be asking them how they got my mobile number and if they do not respond or refuse to say or otherwise obstruct my enquiry, I shall ask Ofcom and possibly the police and the Information Commissioner to investigate since there may have been a breach of the Data Protection Act.
