Report a phone call from 01273673100 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Freaked outI live around that area but have been staying at my parents house since being unfaithful...i missed this call and did 1471, imagine how i felt, scared witless it was an angry friend or family member who had looked up my parents!! Quite relieved it seems to be a marketing scam or charity call centre (i know people who have worked at that one on north road but cant recall the name)
- cyril_the_squirrelThis company is a telemarketing company used by several charities. So I spoke to the Donkey Sanctuary to confirm this, which they did. I asked them to get my telephone number removed and I haven't had a peep for two weeks now. Sorted!!

- John Thewlis| 1 replyI support charities. I don't have much money to give but I try to make the most of my donations by following the route of gift-aid in order that the Govt. chips in as well.
I DO NOT want my donations to be diluted by these cold calling agencies.
Please help us to BAN THESE middle people (middle-men) who rake off more than I earn in a year and sekk to profit from my philanthropy!- Caller: 01273673100
- KarenGood to read previous info. I m a Rabbit charity without the big bucks of the RSPCA so I ll ask THEM for money if they persist!

- jewell replies to mmickkSorry you're wrong. Speaking as an ex employee of PTF. Never got any commission.
- JJJust had a call from this number - stated they were from the Cats Protection League; I'm guessing it's an agency working for a number of charities and sources a list of targets from other charities.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MinnieThis number rang me yesterday ( 6.15pm 27/11/2014). Chap said he was called TOM and that he was from the Cats Protection League. He had details of my name, phone number, email and my Cats Protection Gift Aid reference number. Said they were setting up Direct Debit arrangements for helping kittens in my local area (Dorset). He did say that they were not a marketing company and that ALL money collected went to help the kittens. Was this a lie ?????
- Caller: Cats Protection League
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- MINNIEre my message of 28 Nov 2014 - I have now spoken to the Cats Protection Head Office. They have confirmed that this company IS working for the Cats Protection Charity. This company make a one off small charge to Cats Protection for the telephone call and then ALL money collected from Direct Debits go to the Cats Protection League. This is nice to know and I hope this helps others - especially the stray cats who need our help..

- deb tetleyThis number has called me 4 times in 2 days but I do not answer the phone if I do not recognise the number as it is usually someone selling or wanting donations. I have registered for TPS but that doesn't stop them. They always have a reason why they have my number.
- MaryTThis number is ringing at different times and sometimes within 5 minutes. I don't answer but have the answering machine on, so they ring off. Why don't they take the hint and not ring me? I give to charity, but to whom I want to give and as much or as little as I want to give.
- Caller: Unknown as I won't answer!
- LyndaCalled did not leave a message not answered not recognised
- GriffithsThis number is a damned nascence, they keep calling me. I'm disabled and am unable to get to the phone easily, please stop these pests from calling.

- DeniseBishop| 1 replyI wanted to try and allay some fears and also give people the information they need to not receive calls from us. We do understand that some people do not like being called at home but typically 95% of supporters are happy to receive calls. Apologies to anyone who has been disturbed or concerned by one of our calls.
If you prefer not to be called by the charities you support please answer our call and let the fundraiser know and they will be more than happy to end the call immediately. If you do not want to be called again they are trained to make a note of this on your record which means you will not be disturbed by that organisation again by phone. We understand this not the usual approach taken by many organisations, but can I assure you that it is as much in our interest as yours to make sure that those people who do not like receiving calls are taken of the calling list (as you’ll only get annoyed with us next time we call and we realise that in the long term it will be the charity that suffers from the loss of much needed voluntary support).
We take great pride in what we do and the high quality of our calls, we are not a “telesales” operation and have worked in the not for profit sector for over 20 years. We do not pay any commission to our staff, so they are not personally motivated to engage you by phone if you are not happy to speak to them.
I can be reached on 01273 698697 or by email - deniseb@ptf.org - if you have any concerns you wish to bring to my attention.

- AndyNote the weasel words in the previous post. For example, "you will not be disturbed by that organisation again by phone". Would it be fair to say then that your number remains in the system and you will be called on behalf of other organisations, according to that?
It seems unfortunate that the 5% of people who do not like your calls have decided to congregate here. All 24 pages?
