According to the Information Commissioner's web site there is no listing of your Company on the Register of Data Controllers.

The site says "The Data Protection Act 1998 requires every organisation that processes personal information to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), unless they are exempt. Failure to do so is a criminal offence."

You have stated within your post here that you are keeping "your records", so have you claimed exemption, please?

A very politecyoung lad in a call centre spike but i gave him no time to explsain himself. He called asking for my dad who has been in hospital for 3 months. got a call from this number a few days ago. I asked who it was and the person said from 'cats protection league'. I'm not sure if this is a scam as i've seen other reports of it being a Birmingham based number. Either way I just said I was waiting for an important call so couldn't talk to them and then hung up. Got another call on this number today but I ignored it, better to be safe than sorry!

2 mins later another call from this number again cutting off when answer phone cut in ,I wish they would. Take a hint I never answer my  land line anymore .

I have had this number today, the lady and a while back a guy, said it was for Cats Protection League.  I have asked them to remove my number and despite them saying they will, they continue.  I now put the phone down.  If I want to give to a charity, I will do it myself.

Jane, sorry to say this but PTF are an awful company who treat their employees shamefully. I worked there for 7 months and the amount of bullying I witnessed there was appalling. I'm sure there are better fundraising companies out there who care about their staff.

In the short time I was there the staff turn over saw upwards of 10 new starters each week. Few of whom would stay past a month of two and would just leave often in tears for the things management had said or done to them. I wouldn't want to pay their MD's salary so would only ever donate directly now

Call made to my TPS registered landline on Friday 17/4 no message left and never had any dealings with this lot so no idea how they got my number. Researched number on here and blocked it. Now getting daily calls which of course my blocker does not let through. These people must have a very limited intelligence if they continue to call a blocked number. One day they may realise until then they will never get through.

Still trying but now it is twice a day - morning and evening.

I've started getting calls from this number in 2015, all times of day, never leave a message.  I rang the number and got "Personal telephone fund raising", who say they are a professional organisation who work for a number of charities.  The answerphone gave me another to ring, which was answered, and I asked them to remove my number from their list.  They were very polite.  It remains to be seen whether it works.

They are "professional fund raisers working with various charities". They follow up on anyone who as donated to try for more money

These people are now ringing me at least twice a day - I do not answer. Am glad I looked up the comments. As other people have said, if I want to donate to charity, I'll do it myself.

This number now claims to be Age UK and Help the Aged and are asking if old p3ople will alter their will in th3ir favour.  Sounds like a classic scam to me !!!

Telephone fundraising is the message I received when I called the number.

Such annoying Calls ! Do Not Need ! whoever these Stupid people are!  GET LOST ! Better things to do  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never buy off the internet . Have some respect and don't call again you will be deleted.
