i took the call and got a better deal on my hme ins. so cant really grumble

I am receiving several calls per day. When answer line clears. I work in a call centre and no how this works, o/b calling from a dialler, calls connect to look like the business making its quota of calls. SHOULD NOT be calling the same no's more than once during the day.

No idea who this is... all I know, is im sick and tired of getting these calls and not knowing who it is !!!

Got a call from these dippy chavs, kids screaming in background so think some work from home.

This number called me today 01274663293 twice within seconds of each other, one rang for five rings then seconds after two rings. This is classed as harrasment! I hate theses calls over and over again. I'm even thinking of just cutting off my house phone all together as I'm sick and tired of theses harassing calls.   Get a life.  Clearly neither company's have sorted it out!

From experience of working in sales the best thing for you to do Is to ask if the caller will add you to the do not call list, all outbound call centres should have the option to this, if no luck you can ask for number to be removed from their database. The best way to go about this is to be polite yet blunt, try to prevent shouting and swearing as this may result in further calls unfortunately, hope my advice helps!!

They call every day often twice .

Answered the call, just getting piano music interrupted by a pre-recorded message saying:- "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line, you will be transferred to the next available agent."

As it is an incoming call I am unable to cut it off, I am registered with TPS. It's been about half an hour so far since they called..........

Oh! Change of tune now!

Half an hour later they are still on the line with their music and pre-recorded message!

Just had a call from Darrell of Coverplus, whatever that is, on behalf of Royal & Sun Alliance. A bit late to be calling.

Just said not interested in such calls and phone went down.

These cheeky [***] phone my house , then immediately tell me too hold the line , I hung up and tried 1471 but I got the on hold music for at least ten minutes! Disgracefully way of doing business .

Redress have just blocked my phone line for 45 minutes playing music!!

Their customer service line doesn't take incoming calls anymore so can't address this.

Dear Manager of Redress, I had a call from this number it was a recorded message at first so as | am sick of these calls I put the phone down, 2 minutes later my line was still not cleared, music was playing, this went on for 8 minutes by which time I'd got through to my telephone company and got their advice. They should not be calling me I am on TPS to who I will be reporting now

It's interesting to note that this telephone line is still alive and working in January 2013, despite past complaints and my membership of TPS. Many thanks for past messages, everyone. Using caller display I will ignore future calls from this number

Repeated pointless call asking intrusive questions - climed they were a UK based "data amalgamation company" for the "claims industry" marketing and selling mis-sold PPI by telephone.  7

Having Caller ID I knew it was a PPI company so ignored it but it's 10.30am and I've had 3 calls from this number already!

Foolishly answered this as the dialling code is the same as Bradford and I thought it could be an important call. American accented voice kept telling me to "please hold the line you call is important to us"...Really? Then kept me on hold for nearly 12 minutes. Even after switching off the phone I of course could not ring out - for another 8 minutes - every time I went to make a call their hold music was still playing. Phoning this number form a mobile only tells you've dialled an incorrect number. How can they be allowed to do this?

01274663293 just called. There are 28 pages of people complaining on this website and nothing is ever done about these tossers.

Forget TPS waste of time.
Forget ofcom waste of time.
Forget any other powerless government body.

Spend a bit of dosh and get a true call unit. I bought one last year and now my phone only rings when there is someone I want to talk to. Very Expensive - But Brilliant.
