Guess not going tomorrow. Exact same questions, where do you see yourself in 5 years blah blah blah... And I applied the night before, and the phone rang in the morning.
No.

The company name was GLASGOW INTERACTIVE. I felt stupid when I told people I FINALLY got a job interview and I didn't actually know what the job was... Scam.

Hi guys, first (and probably only) post on here. Here goes.

Lost my job mid-January. Applied for everything & anything. Got a call from a "Naomi" on Wednesday. Great, went up on Wednesday for an interview & met Ross. Charming fellow. Five minute interview with no mention of job title or pay. Met a young lad named Joe & George today. A brisk walk from Blythswood square to a salon near St Enoch's just to show me hairdressers doing there job & how apparently "this was efficiency" was puzzling. Was then sent back through the city centre to meet George. within 5 mins I was offered a job. Alarm bells were rung. As soon as I typed in G10 Scam this appeared.

Edit: Never actually applied for the job & I facebooked another person who "got the job" today and they shared a mirroring experience.

I applied for this job this morning around 07:30 and I had a call at 14:45 asking me to go for an interview. I had a look on their website (www.glasgowinteractive.co.uk) it looks quite professional but then again you don't know if it's genuine or not. The girls name was Stacey and the interview is in blythswood square. I'm going to the interview as I've nothing to loose and if it doesn't seem genuine then I'll not continue with it but I may as we'll give it a bash.

I just got through all the interview stages and feel utterly ashamed at reading all this. I finally felt worth a company's time and spent the day with 3 different people whom I thought were genuine, hard working people for a company that would let me progress with hard work. Feel a bit sick that I was lied to and feel like I want to meet with the boss and call him out on all of this and see his reaction. How do these people sleep at night? are they laughing that i was hooked in by all the lies?
I didnt witness door to door sales but they were in a shopping centre all day. I wouldn't mind that kind of work if I saw progression, but if the targets are unattainable and i'm losing money while they gain then the whole business is built on lies. Meant to be about progress and results from hard work, but only the fatcats at the top see the results while the people at the bottom are taken advantage of.
Really sad that people like this exist and am annoyed that I was so naive.

Seen the post dated last year.. This is March 2014 and they are still running. Saw ads from G10 and had a call from "Glasgow interactive" - 01412210168 - all very convinient. I did apply for the job through an agency online. Then I googled the Co, not much info what they actually do, but hey.. whenb I googled G10 - different story! Thank Goodness G10 and Glasgow Interactive are linked! Well, I had a lady on the phone, wanting to ask my about my CV, but only asked me where I see myself in 5 yrs time. After that she said, I sound great, she will hand over my Details to the Recruitment Team. Well, I guess when they call, I can decline unless I would like to traipse the streets all hours of the day... link to their website:

Applied for g10 and Glasgow interactive. I am 18 years old so maybe a bit more guillable when it comes to these scams. My interviews are tomorrow and Thursday, told my dad (a bank manager) and he said it's all a scam, As I am as stubborn as anything and skint I didn't want to believe it because Stacey and that other girl were lovely to me, thank god for this and I now know what they are like! (Dammit my dad was right lol) I will not be attending interviews which would of cost me a train fare as well. Raging! Definetly reporting these companies.

Glasgow Interactive: Forward Ever, Backward Never

Worked for 'Glasgow Interactive' briefly recently and just to clear this up, their basic pay is £40 a day, which is terrible considering you are expected to be at the office from 8am and don't return till 5.30/6pm, and also that that you have to pay your own travel to whichever corner of the city you are sent to.

So yes, you will get £240 a week.... Minus travel expenses.... if you work a 60 hour week Monday - Saturday.
Judge for yourself.

A lot of the people the people working there do love it, because they have been sucked right in and seem to think that they are saving the planet. They really make an effort to sell you the job on the 'observation day' (2nd interview), which by the way is anything but, they just sit you in a Tesco / shopping centre cafe for the best part of 6 hours and give you a few written tasks.  Absolute joke. Avoid.

I had an interview here a while ago as well.  George 'the [***]' Kennedy couldnt sell a cure for cancer!  The stuff the guy tries to hit you with is unbelieveable.  Safe to say I walked out of there and wasnt fooled!

I worked there for 2 weeks and was denied my Daily rate as my 'leads' didn't justify my daily rate, finally got my wages from 2 weeks work bit it was only 120 i was paid. I Felt a total fool for being sucked in. Something needs to be done about them how can a 'business' like this be legitimate the short answer is its not

Thought I had got the job. guy shook hands with me and everything. I knew something suspicious was up when they tried to pass of a wolf of wall street atmosphere about the place.The problem was that I had done atleast 5 hours of written work on the "open day" and they barely even bothered to look at it. They said I got the job because i am ambitious. I have no business experience what so ever. The test at the end I performed poorly in. The guys still gives me the job. This job is practically slave labour for extremely long hours with little to now breaks. waste of time. bad choice folk. don't go for it!!!!
