missed call - from comments above looks like I haven't missed much.

fed up to the back teeth of energy callers.

nationalise the lot of them.

Two calls from this lot of morons this morning. Getting heartily sick of nuisance calls.

Cold call, male voice, Glasgow accent, claiming to be from "UK Energy Assessment Company".   Looked this up, it seems to be in the process of being wound up!  When asked for the full name of his company, the caller hung up without a word.

Usual situation! 4 rings and before you can answer the 'phone they have rung off!

We are also on TPS but it is not worthwhile as we are still plagued with unsolicited calls, always at particularly inconvenient times.

Silent call to a TPS registered landline at 1611hr today

My elderly parents are getting silent calls from this "company". When ringing back via 1471 and given choice to be removed from calling list by pressing 1, it states mail box is full and message cannot be taken.
We are already in TPS, so the only way is to complain is to ofcom which another user has advised. These companies are abusing the data protection laws and need to be heavily fined. The more complaints OFCOM receive, the better chance of a prosecution been brought against them.

We get calls regularly from people who are mistaking us for this company.

99% of the complainants are Scottish which leads me to believe the company you are looking for is www.1solarenergy.co.uk

I do not appreciate the fact our business details have been wrongly posted, and suggest you make the necessary appology and remove this thread.

We do not employ telesales people, and certainly do not cold call anyone. We are a small professional, Sheffield based company

What I would like to do is collect a list of peoples names as evidence so that we can report this company to REAL, which is an assurance scheme that all renewable energy installers have to be a member of, to ensure the customer recieves a high quality service.

Please email directly at info@one-solar.co.uk, so we can gather supporting evidence to get this company struck off.

Called a TPS registered number today at 1045hr - UK Energy Research trying to 'sell' Feed-in Tariff and so-called renewable energy which is an inefficient way to produce electricity and, at best, is a scheme that robs the poor to pay the rich.

Rang today. Didn't know what they wanted. Hung upon on them.

Called today at 3.47pm. No message. If it's the solar panel shower won't be calling back.

PLEASE STOP PHONING OUR NUMBER.  WE ARE REGISTERED WITH TPS AND ARE GETTING VERY ANNOYED!!!  WE ARE SERIOUSLY THINKING OF CHANGING OUR TELEPHONE TO ONE THAT SHOWS THE CALLER'S NUMBER.  WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS.  WE ARE PENSIONERS AND CANNOT REALLY AFFORD IT!

I have reported the post on this site which wrongly identifies us as the culprit, and would appreciate it if anyone with issues about this number contacts the company that IS responsible.

Getting sick and tired of them. They're calling nearly every day (using different numbers all with Glasgow Prefix) asking for Mr. or Mrs. Niven. They don't give a monkeys about our no. being TPS registered and the TPS do fig all neither, having reported them several times.
I've already left one on the line, while I got the imaginary Mrs. Niven. Apparently she didn't appreciate Iron Maiden as our waiting queue music, so hung up after just 5 minutes.

Had a call from them twice today and there is a strange beep followed by them putting the phone down.

This number is from Excel Plumbing & Heating (SCOT) Ltd. The number is on their website, also an alternative number in Cumbernauld. TPS doesn't seem to count for anything anymore!

I have just been called by "The Nation Energy Research Group" and asked if I was" Mr.Davidson"  When I informed the caller that I was not " Mr Davidson" and that he had dialled the wrong number, the caller then quoted my address. When I asked why he had linked an inaccurate name, an address and phone number the caller hung up.On calling the 01412800251 , a Glasgow area number, I discovered that the mailbox was full and that an error had occurred.Sounds very much like Scams R Us

Received a call despite being registered with TPS and MPS.  They did not leave a message on my answer machine so they will not receive a return call.
