Report a phone call from 01415304547 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- DaisySome one using this number has been making indecent late night phone calls to my elderly mother, when she hangs up they phone back repeatedly. BT have not been helpful. This is very distressing.
- JackieScumbags called here at 00-19 this morning. This is unacceptable by anyone's standards. Just WHEN is all this unwanted and constant harassment of people, by telephone, going to stop ? I'm just so sick of it. E-mail .... spam and crap about viagra and emails from every single bank except my own. Oh, and letters from Nigeria ! Mobile phone .... PPI, how to claim after my non-existent accident and how to help me out of the debt i'm SUPPOSED to be in. Then there's the constant barrage on the landline as well. Little "John Smith" from Mumbai telling me I have a virus on my laptop and automated messages telling me everything from the fact that i've won an amazing cruise to asking me if I want to change my energy tarriff. NO. GO AWAY !!! Rant over. Now i'm going to report the number i'm actually complaining about (today !!!)
- AlanRecorded msg. Reported to ICO
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Totally Fed UpI've been called from this number 4 times in the last couple of days. I recently invested in a BT6500 phone which blocks unwanted calls. So far it works brilliantly. The problem is that it only blocks 10 numbers. I don't think this will be nearly enough. I long for the day when these [***] get their comeuppance.
- Fed up with thisSick of these people trying to ring me - screen calls but they keep trying - am registered with TPS
- Gordon RobertsonI am the Managing Director of EcoEnergy Scotland Ltd based in Dundee. We are NOT the company involved in these nuisance calls. The name Eco Energy is not unique to our company unfortunately.

We have complained to Ofcom, TPS and the ICO about this matter. Below is the response we received from the ICO on April 2nd.
Please contact the ICO with your complaints, their details are on the letter responding to our complaint below.

Dear Mr Robertson
Thank you for your correspondence about unsolicited automated direct marketing phone calls being made by ‘Eco Energy’.
What we do
The Information Commissioner’s Office regulates the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). The PECR are concerned with the way organisations send marketing material by fax, text, email and telephone. Marketing can include the promotion of goods, services, aims or ideals.
Automated direct marketing calls
Regulation 19 of the PECR says that automated direct marketing calls cannot be made without prior consent. Automated calls usually take the form of a pre-recorded message.
Regulation 24 says that the caller must identify themselves when making automated marketing calls and must provide a valid business address or freephone number.
Next steps
Thank you for confirming that you do not make automated direct marketing calls. I have made a note on the system of your comments and also advised our enforcement department of this. Unfortunately it is not in our remit to investigate the matter on your behalf however we will keep a record of your complaint as these records may assist us in identifying organisations breaching the PECR in the future.
If we collate information from a number of different complaints we are much more likely to be able to identify those responsible with a view to taking further action against them. In order to do this we rely on information provided by the general public that have received these calls. You may wish to provide a link to our website at : www.ico.org.uk/complaints, for people making complaints. They will need to select ‘complain about nuisance calls and messages’.
We will use the information provided on this report tool to focus on identifying and taking action against those organisations which are consistently disregarding or breaching the PECR. You can find out more about our enforcement activities on our website at www.ico.gov.uk/enforcement or by contacting our helpline on 0303 123 1113.
I am sorry we are unable to assist further, however I hope this information is useful.
Yours sincerely
