- The Watcher replies to KWGood advice on that one. Ways choose wisely. Make sure they are insured and members of a professional body
- The Watcher replies to deepthroatI did not comment on her previous actions. Just stated her position along with a hope for a job in her future if she has not already found one. If I could answer my own question I would not have asked you. You made a comment, I just asked for clarification.
- The Watcher replies to deepthroatSeen plenty of threats on here from many people. Who's going to be found, spoken to, closed, jail etc etc etc. Who do you speak of?
- The Watcher replies to gen1985A lesson many people have learnt. Do not believe a word that comes out of Geralds mouth. Many have and have suffered for it. Many still are.
- The Watcher replies to K WNice little plan thought up by Gerry and carried out by his gofer grant Bowles to avoid his responsibilities. Just putting a divert on a number does not pass responsibility to the receiving number. If you got a loan from the bank but then didn't make your payments and diverted your home phone to your neighbour, does that mean that when the bank call your neighbour will owe the money and you are excused ??? Or does it mean you have diverted your number to illegally attempt to avoid financial responsibilities.

BEWARE!!!
Following being cold called, My mother paid £2500 to this company up front. She was taken in by the nice suit and business card and professional appearance. Internet research has revealed they have no professional indemnity insurance, they are not qualifies solicitors/ lawyers and are not bound by the same code of practice. It transpires that qualified solicitors will draw up a similar trust for approx £700. However unlike with this company, you won't need to pay solicitors up front and they have codes of practice that don't allow them to select and cold call vulnerable old people.

Dont know if we posted this one?
Thankyou for reading.
KW - The Watcher replies to K W| 4 repliesYes Helen Christine Crombie. As you know you have already posted this one. But let's look at it closer. Ignoring the spelling mistakes.
Paid up front (that's been commented on earlier) but no mention of not receiving what was ordered so should we assume whatever was ordered has been delivered. I guess so.
Insurance. I would love to know what magic can be worked on line via 'research' to get the information that a company has or has not got any professional indemnity insurance. As the company commented on is a member of the Society of Willwriters they must have proven to them that they have insurance at a minimum level of £2 million per client.
All points to this post/comment not being from a genuine client or clients relation. I am all for information being available but let's stick to the truth and facts and not take any notice of malicious posting of comments that are obviously set up by someone with a grudge - The Watcher replies to MargaretThankfully they have now been stopped. All associated companies were closed down on 20th October 2011.
- The Watcher replies to KWI totally agree. No one should be placed under pressure to pay for something that is not right for them.

Might suprise them! - K WTo all Readers, an update on the Liquidation of Minster Legal Services (UK) Ltd, Legal Assistance Ltd and Legal Assistance 4 U Ltd and of course, Mr Gerald Malcolm Barton, courtesy of The Mirror.
Minster Legal will-writing scam axed.
By Andrew Penman on October 26, 2011 11:00 PM in Investments
Pretty much everything that could be wrong with a business was badly wrong with Minster Legal Services (UK) Limited.
We exposed this will-writing sham and its boss Gerald Barton (below) in the summer.
[Picture of Barton] <--- http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2011 ... riting-sca.html
Now it is in compulsory liquidation after the High Court heard it took more than £1.1million from people who wanted a will drafted and safely stored.
The Insolvency Service told the court the firm "traded in a manner which was misleading and contrary to public interest". More specifically:
● It used coldcallers to drum up business and then charged customers different amounts for the same so-called service - it charged what it thought it could get away with.
● Money was siphoned out of the company accounts.
● The firm was insolvent.
● The customers were not told about their cancellation rights and some were sold "inappropriate products".
● A "lack of transparency" was used to hide who was running the firm - former jailbird and banned director Barton, 63.
● Some financial records were missing - "Investigators found evidence of the disqualified director removing documents from the trading premises".
It was based in Gainsborough, Lincs, as was Legal Assistance Limited - set up to "continue the mischief". Both were shut down, as was Legal Assistance 4 U Limited of Newark.
Call us cynical, but we doubt that this is the last we'll hear of Barton.
