its a finance company recovering debts from gym membership

Got a call from this number asking me to confirm my details without the caller telling me where he is calling from. Just dropped the phone on him and he didn't call back.

these buggers will hound you, they also use other numbers.  I have had 9 calls off them in a day from 0730 to 2300!!!!

I also got lots of calls from this company. I called them back, the man was really rude to me when I would not divuldge personal details about myself, he was very peronal to me and would also not tell me who their company was. Never get in contact with this company - they are clearly bully boy cowboys

Lmao - left an answer machine message saying "Contact Chris from CRS as soon as possible I have left a number of messages this is NOT going to go away."... lovely, for a debt I do not even believe I owe for Top Notch!

My advise to all, don't answer these calls, if you do, hang up the moment they say CRS.

Btw, they also have the tendancy to call a few minute after with a withheld number.

I have recieved a couple of texts asking to call this number back urgently from a different number and as other people state, these people are very rude, unproffessional and complete bullies. They are a debt recovery company for a gym. Do not divulge personal information no matter how insistent they are. Not only did I NOT owe any money I was spoken to in a very rude and patronising way. Completely annoying and a waste of time.

I received a text message on my mobile this afternoon (6/12/10) stating I had to ring 01444449165 urgently regarding several letters they had sent me.  It was from CRS.  Having checked on the internet I find this a debt collecting service for a gym.  As I do not have any debts and am to old and unfit for gyms I will not be responding - particularly as I have not had any correspondence from CRS.

Same here! Very rude and patronising. Suggesting I had cancelled my direct debit for gym membership. They had been writing to my neighbours, and I guess saying I was in debt! (Wrote to No 125, I live at 129!) I spoke to my bank who said direct debit was never even set up!

This company should not be allowed to harass and intimidate people in the manner that they do.

Like so many other commentators on the site, e have been inundated with texts and calls from these cowboys. Each time their texts are becoming more and more intimidating and threatening.

The ridiculousa thing is, like others have said, I'm not in debt to anyone... have a first class credit rating AND get this... they haven;t even got my name correctly spelt!

I have found this company to be a real nuisance. It concerns me that these sort of bully 'tactics' would result in people less able to simply 'brush this off & ignore them' to become stressed, anxious and intimidated such that they may foolishly respond to them (and in so doing confirm that they have reached a 'real' person).

The real question has to be why on earth here isn't legal route that can be taken to prevent this type of business practice form being allowed to happen.

My advice/opinion to everyone who has 'googled' CRS is to IGNORE their texts, hang up if they call and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES disclose any information to them should they call you directly.

CRS text me for the first time this morning, telling me to phone someone. Bunch of [***], vulnerable people will undoubtedly respond t these nasties. Whos up for tracking them down and coving them in syrup and chicken feathers? . . . . . . Anyone? . . . . . Just me then?. .   .. . . .im scare.

they keep sending me texts saying they've sent me post (havnt sent any!) and asking me to contact them otherwise they will have to take more drastic options...i am ignoring them! obviously not a proper company or they would at least divuldge a little bit of information as to why i owe them money

I do owe money to the gym where I stopped going because it was very dirty and falling apart.the gym didn t want to cancel the membership so i cancelled the direct debit and now they keep sending me letters which i never open and always send them back to them saying not at the address,they also call me but never pick up their calls.

you got any idea if they are going to stop harassing me eventually?

Iv'e just had a voice message from CRS asking me to ring them about a personal matter. They rang me over 12 months ago trying to recover gym fees which I cancelled via a letter 12 months earlier even giving the gym 6 months extra fees, this was the time given to cancel. They, CRS are still trying to get fees from me since I cancelled. I don't reply..!

Omg I have exactly the same problem they recon I owe £350 for gym that I to cancelled they even rang my work and told them!!!!! I'm sure that's breach of confidentiality !!!i think I will seek legal advice on these people....
