Report a phone call from 01462439891 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- daisyReceived a call this morning, did not recognise the number therefore I ignore and don't answer. I always type number into internet, which gives me the nuisance/sales call it might be. So annoying............
- Caller: don't know from other comments Tmobile
- Jackie replies to DonkykongThat's weird as the number is on the t mobile website under safety and security, numbers who will dial you from t mobile. Maybe it wasn't t mobile you spoke to the SECOND TIME. Preaching about being 'aggressive' whilst you're swearing down the phone at someone doing their job, bit hypocritical. Maybe you should listen to them instead of assuming you know everything without even trying to hear what they have to say...
- Me FinnIf I want something I will go and but it so [***] callin me
- anonymous| 1 replygo to the tmobile website, then help and support, safety and security and then phone calls from the mobile and our partners the number is there and is an official number the whole EE range is such a large company that all employees may not know of this number so as a quick answer may just say it's not known to the company. All calls are automatically made if there is no answer then the system will automatically make the call at a later date so the best thing to do is answer, this scheme does benefit a lot of customers, some people it won't but that's just down to the individuals needs. If you don't want the call then it will be taken off all you have to do is ask. People are there to do a job and it is an official call
- Caller: t mobile and EE
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Karen replies to StevoThey say they are T Mobile! But I've checked with T mobile - they have nothing to do with them! - being in poor health myself I know how frustrating these calls are! Guess we gotta track down the idiots who has sold our info on to these nuisance callers!
- Annoyed soon to be ex T-Mobile customerYET ANOTHER CALL FROM 01462 439891.... <sigh>
I called 150 from my phone. T-Mobile Customer Services said it is one of their "Authorised Partners" ... any how the long and short of it is I made it massively clear T-Mobile are in breach of their own privacy agreement.... they have shared my full name and mobile number with an external party without my express consent. If I had the time i'd sue them.
Cust Svs guy kept his calm and although there were profuse apologies and assurance it will stop, I wont be renewing our corporate contract next month.
You can report it to Ofcom here: https://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/tell-us/webflow/silent-calls/
PS If you have a Samsung phone, you can add a number to your "reject list", the phone will never ring from them again :-)- Caller: "Authorised Partner" ...
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JaniceCan I just make you aware the telephone calls you do receive you have ticked a box on your contract, it's not a sales call it's a rewards call they review through the mobiles within the house they did this with me and I got a new phone for my dad and also a new iPad at a discounted rate so shut the [removed:lang] winging away and speak to them!
- Caller: Tmobile
- Pricey replies to SamuelThanks for your information , will not answer this number ,
- AnonRang my mobile this morning & rang off before I could answer - when I dialled back a tele recording said they were EE and no action was required by me.
- Caller: EE
- JJI have previously spoken to somebody on this number and they claim to be T-Mobile and asking me to provide personal details, ie date of birth, address etc.
They probably didn't count on the fact I used to work for T-Mobile and when I ask her to confirm which of their call centers or offices she worked at she couldn't confirm this.
I asked several times if she actually worked directly for T-Mobile, a question she tried to avoid answering.
My guess, they are a secondary company - an agent - trying to get you to buy a new contract through them so they make a fee.
Avoid getting tricked by them I would advice.- Caller: Claim to be T-Mobile
- Call type: Telemarketer
- gnchad call from this number and rejected to answer phone. they left a 2 min answer phone message with 2 people having a conversation. reported to OFCOM.
- Abdulreceived miss call from this number.
- ben dover replies to anonymousObviously an employee or director of step change outsourcing
- Debs replies to MIf you post your CV online when registering with jobsites (which you have to do on the gov site if your claiming jobseekers!!!) they get your number from there. Annoyingly its a catch 22 situation. If you don't post your CV you can't claim JSA, if you don't put your number on it, prospective employers can't contact you so you end up being called by these annoying numbers
- JohnWhy come up with lies like the account holder has moved to Australia when you can answer the security questions they are required to ask under the data protection act, so you can authorise changes to your account... And then ask them to make the change to of putting you on their 'do not call list'. Why tell lies and avoid things?? The number is listed on the ee website.. Search the area code on the search bar and it pops up... You pay line RENTAL for your contract.. Ee OWN your line, so they can ring you on it every other day if they like.... You actually have a RIGHT to receive these sales calls... And have to prove you are who you say you are so you don't cheat the account holder of their right to take discounted contracts if they want them. And you have the right to stop them if you are not too much of a wimp to actually have a conversation... I don't know what people think will happen. Do you think they can force an ipad down the phone to you? Steal your soul if you tell them your postcode?? What is everyone so terrified they will do?
- Caller: EE
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Brian KingRang today - Total silence then the line went dead.
- Caller: I suspect a solar energy company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DaveReceived call on this number and they were from EE, they already had my security code and bank details!
If they are not from EE then I don't know who they are but this number is listed on EE website.- Caller: EE/Orange
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnonOk let's clear a few things up, im an ex employee within this company its a outsourcing call centre who is a direct partner of EE, we have to ask u security questions when u answer due to DPA which is to protect YOU against fraud, we offer discounts on additional services to existing customers eg: new contract for family members, ipads/tablets and also HBB, all the agents are doing is their job! A system generates a number from the data base and given to a agent automatically, if u don't answer the disposition the call as answer machine so u get a call back 72 hours later, if ur not interested it takes u out the system...its has been proven that some people that have been helped over the past in my time can actually save between £100-£200 a year from what they can offer so it maybe worth ur while listening for a few mins cause they maybe able to help you aswell
- Caller: Ee
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TamLet be even more clear. The Data Protection Act governs relationships between Customers and Companies and other Organisations with which they deal. The security questions are set up as a means of identification between EE and an individual customer. YOU are not the same legal entity as EE and it is simply wrong for you to even ask for confidential information, let alone moan when customers of EE refuse to provide it to you.
If EE customers give out confidential information to anyone who asks for it they may well be in breach of contract with EE.
No matter how wonderful your offers might be, you cannot be EE themselves.
You are just one of many unwanted callers and will have to face up to that. - Christian replies to BenI can confirm its EE, T Mobile or Orange whatever they call themselves nowadays and yes it's the rewards line.
