i just got a call from that number on my new sim card that i just bought how on earth did they get that number

This number have called several times, but didn't leave a message on my answer machine. Unfortunately, they rang again when I was in. Got caught off guard so when they asked if they were speaking to Mrs X I said yes. The girl on the phone giggled and hung up.

I was called by telephone number 0151-255-3580 last week i had had it before in regards to an accident I had been involved in whih I am now claiming for , but this call was from there energy team as someone who had dealt with there accident team they wanted to help me with my utility bills I am with Scottish Power and spend over £1600 a year it works out to, well Heather who helped me found a deal with British Gas using the internet saving £379 a year have had the paper work this morning and all looks in order, heres to my savings thank you Heather who also provided me with homecare cover for £7.95 a month when I currently pay Swinton £21.50 per month and it covers more than swintons cover.

How soon is shortly. It is now Mid June 209 and they are still sending out nuisance calls. They rang regarding a no existent accident sometime over the last 3 years. Said they would alter their records accordingly.

Where do they obtain names, addresses and phone numbers from? Presumably the electorial registers illegally as we do not appear on published ones by request.

Rang and hung up when answered. 16.30 today

Rang my mobile at 17:56 today. Was busy so I deferred the call. Rang back a few minutes later to get the "extension .... is busy, please leave a message" in a female american accent. Typed the phone number into google and here we are. Have recently been sorting insurance out for both home and motorbike. Presume someone's been handing out my details. Am also registered with TPS.

The phoned me today, about 4 rings and then they disconnected. Obviously aren't trying hard.

I haven't ever had a car accident, so I'm not sure how they got my number!

These called me today, at 14:53.

Hi I had 2 calls from this number yesterday. They hung up before I got to it on the first attempt, so I called back only to get the 'dialled an incorrect number' tone... strange as this is my mobile and I simply hit the call button when the caller's number was on my screen. Anyway they called me again about an hour later, this time I answered only for them to hang up... it sounded like a call box in a pub, you know the ones that you have to insert the money in on connection. Luckily I have a phone that allows me to block certain numbers which is exactly what I've done. My phone tells me this nuber tried me again at 13.41. I too have recently bought insurance for a motorbike.

1 call from these yesterday. answered but no went dead straight away.
4 calls today. just put them on silent.

might try to dig around for a directors number and call them and hang up!!!

Pissed me right off... I never give my mobile or landline number to anyone and when giving mobile number to Insurance companies/banks etc... I stress that I DO NOT WANT SALES OR MARKETING CALLS!!!

thay called me this morning but my phone died (dam bat) i keep geting stuped phone calls atm and im giving them hell for it i ask them loads of questions and keep them on the phone as long as i can to bring there costs up lmao i advise any1 who gets a call off them to pick up the call then put ya phone back in ya pocket with them shouting for ya its well funny, or ask them to wait a sec then put the phone on the side and get back to what you were doing lol

I guess it's my turn for this. Had a call a short while ago, answered giving my name then the line went dead. I never knew just the mention of my name would strike so fear into anyone that they'd hang up. Tried phoning back to get the American accent saying that extention **** was busy.
So much for them being cut off!

this could be the culprit called on my mobile I don't give that number out!

Numerous times, silence, hang ups and one where they asked me about an accident.. Told them that I wasn't prepared to continue the call..
