Just had a call from this number.  Told them it was dinner time so not convenient.  Asked for another time I said no as I have small children, to this she said well are you available at weekends..................My response, no I still have children then too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thought id update this thing, i just got called by this number and missed it so decided to Google it! hmm thank god i did seems to be bad news. FYI if you havent answered it yet and they do call, you can always say " I'm Old Greeeeeegggggg!" And cut off lol

I am registered with tps.  This no. has just called me but I did not pick up.  I believe they also called a few weeks ago when I was out but they do not leave messages.  If callers like this persist, sometimes I answer the call but then turn up the radio very loudly or switch the vacuum cleaner on and walk away and leave them to it!

They called me yesterday evening but I didn't answer as I didn't know the number. I'm 16 and don't understand how they'd get hold of my number?!! Can I report them or do they have to call more than once?

Had these numbers ring twice today: 01582630014 01582630015 and it's a foreign sounding person asking if i can answer questions for a survey the first time. Second time mum answered and it was a different voice and she told them not to call again. (So am waiting for another call lol). If they ring again i'll ask where they got my ex-directory tps number from!? Then i'll be reporting them to.. er somebody. Offcom and/or Information Commissioners Office maybe.

I had missed call and checked on  line to see who it was, I presumed it to be a company.  Am glad I didnt answer and shocked to see so many messages about this scam!

We are monitored anyway,banks, Tescos,cameras...uh hu so don't be scarred of this crap calls!! Just give them what they want, one day they will have indigestion of their own BLL...KS!! sorry for the latter expression...

I've had two missed calls on my mobile, googled it out of interest. Very informative site, thanks - i'll continue to direct them to my voicemail until they give up!

Wow - missed call from them just now, googled it while it was still ringing to find out who it was and saw this lot above!  Didn't answer.

I have caller display on my phone, i dont answer if i dont recognise the number, this number has calls over and over which is why i googled it, I wont be answering it!

The caller said they were from GMK doing a survey into the use of online maps. I asked how he got my number as I too am registered with TPS.  He said the number was randomly dialled by a computer. I thought that was illegal!  I dialled 1471 and got the number.

Have reported to TPS this morning.

I had a call from this number this evening its not the first time as they have rung my mobile too, don't know how they got my no. as i'm XD so i added them to my reject list then googled them glad that i did now..these people shouldn't waste peoples time and i would love to know how they do manage to obtain XD numbers

the number above called my ex-boyfriend to ask if I still live there, apparently they said they were calling on behalf of a client and alarmed a few bells to be honest, I am glad it is a nuisance call, on the other hand what a waste of time!

GfK are an established market research company: no scam, nor phishers for personal ID.

Of course it is highly annoying that their foreign people ring us up out the blue, using ex-directory numbers, and infuriating that they persist for days, but that does not mean their surveys are scams!

This company contacted me saying they had been asked by Abbey to carry out a survey of their customers.  They knew my name telephone number which is ExD and that I bank with Abbey.  Is Abbey really giving out all this detail?

They just called me now, claiming to have my details from Abbey and wanted me to take part in a short survey. I told them to call back next week as I was busy, then typed the number into google. hmmmm!!! I'm guessing I should tell them to leave me alone in future!!!

They rang today but when my son answered it went silent but he could hear people in the background. Dialled 1471 and then looked this site up.

Following my previous posting why don't we all post them unstamped envelopes to their office address. This should cost them around £1 a go - we could put a slip of paper and put it in the envelope that says
"this is an unsolicited letter to make up for your unsolicited telephone call".........
