Had a missed call from this number, from what I've read, these guys are a bunch of c*nts

Received a call from this number. A man with a Scottish accent asked "Mrs J?"
I replied: No sorry, I'm not Mrs J - but can I help?
Caller then hung up.


Found out later through "Who Calls Me" who had called.

They called me yesterday and I didn't recognize the number when I dialled 1471. Googled it found tehm here. Called back this morning and on their opening gambit I switched to French and they promptly hung up but to be honest think I could have speaking gobbledy-[***] and they wouldn't have known the difference.

Just had a woman call me from this number, appear to be now calling themselves "Carr {Kerr?} and Butler"

Just had a call from this number, hung up before I answered. Always check unknown numbers on this site so won't be attempting to answer it again!

I am on TPS also and i also have caller id - no answer when i picked up so called it back twice and like some of you have mentioned i got the strange dialling noise ??

I am from Falkirk but originally Glenrothes we must be on some sort of database somewhere sounds realy dodgy.

Hope these people get caught!!

We were called on 11 August asking whether they could help with an accident claim.
We haven't had an accident. THis number has also called my mobile

Same thing here 10 minutes ago.
Then she asked if I was the homeowner of the property, and I said no.

it was me you spoke too!!

Knew my name and informed me I was one of three winners of about £800. Said I needed to confirm the answer to 3 questions. 1 - was I the owner, 2 - could I confirm the postcode to my address. At this point hung up.

Left me a message singing hakuna matata down my answer phone. Also registered with tps

rang back and like some other posts, heard a weird ring tone.

Said they were from "Butler & Carr" and moving to the area. Wanted to confirm I was the home owner

Phoned here and said they were "Harvey and Grant".  They had a number of £1000 gift vouchers.  I hung up.  Their cll was at 17 20 on a Sunday afternoon.

They phone again today and started asking me personal details. I asked again who he wasand mumbled some name stating they were a new company. I said I had never heard of them, and told I wasn't  interested in what he was selling or offering. He said I was very rude, and I replied that since I hadn't asked him to call me I could be more than rude. He hung up.

this number is for a company going under the name of harvey and clark who are actually dm design in kirkcaldy who are trying to sell you a kitchen bedroom or bathroom

i am registered with TPS and got caller ID showing this number, would love to know how and also why, if this is a cold calling and from the postings below it is, should they unfortunately get me, they will be advised of my TPS registration and also that I will report them

missed a call from this number. Tried to return call and got the engaged tone. After reading this site wont try again.
