Got a call offering grants of £1,000  at 4.pm Thursday 25th August 20111.  When I said I was registered with TPS she swore at me saying "what the f*** are you telling me that for and hung up.  I am just glad the kids didn't answer the phone to this kind of abusive language.

"is it so offensive to you that companies are trying to bring in business in the economical climate?"

Are you serious? Getting calls at all times of the day (I work nights so try to sleep) and the majority are in India so what is that doing for the UK economy?

Called and asked me if I was the homeowner. Foolishly I confirmed that I was and confirmed my addtress. I was then asked how old my kitchen was and offered free vouchers. The man said he would call again. He did this yesterday and I told him I was not interested. He was enraged and said quite threateningly, several times, 'You accepted a free voucher!' then added 'And now you're going to get me into trouble!' I told him again that I wasn't interested and that he should not have made the call in the first place as I am on Telephone Preference. He'd just caught me off-guard. He rang off.

Perhaps those who obviously work for this company could give us their home numbers, then we can call them constantly?

When answered the phone without checking, then told this ****** I was registered with TPS he told me they take no notice of that as it's only voluntary - and no action can be taken against them!

Just received a call from 01592 642600.  Lady said (I think in Scottish accent) "Hello, my name's Lisa.  I'm calling from ...." and I couln't catch the company name so I interrupted her to ask her to repeat it, at which point she just hung up.  I obtained the number from 1471 and tried calling her back but only reached the strange engaged tone others have described (rapid beep beep beeps).

Keep getting this number coming up in my missed calls.  Says it's a UPS Tracking No.  But I've  had nothing to do with UPS.
    • Caller: UPS?

Just reported that I'd had calls, missed fortunately, from this number.   Then checked my phone bill and realise I've somehow managed to be charged about £5 for two calls which are shown on my bill, one of 1 hr. 51 mins.  I certainly have never  made such calls. Can I ask my phone company to repay me these chargesl.

We are getting continuous calls from this number I wish that we could just block them.

They were most upset when I told one of them that we did not want the £1000 voucher

Director pays out for kissing employee

    GalleryPublished Date: 26 July 2002
    By JAMES DOHERTY

A WEALTHY businessman has lost an employment tribunal after it was ruled that he had kissed and groped a teenage employee despite his wife being in the next office.

Donald MacLeod, 44, a director of the family firm DM Design Bedrooms Ltd, of Cumbernauld, was yesterday ordered to pay £1,070 in compensation to a telesales canvasser, Lindsay Wallace, 19, for unlawfully sexually discriminating against her.

The millionaire businessman had asked to see the girl’s tattoos before the tribunal heard how he tried to kiss her and put his hands on her bottom.

At an earlier hearing in May, MacLeod admitted asking her for a kiss in exchange for a piece of wood, but claimed Miss Wallace initiated the advance.

Miss Wallace, from Eastfield, Cumbernauld, had asked MacLeod for a piece of wood in July last year. As they went to collect it from the warehouse, he inquired about her tattoos.

Miss Wallace, who has a tattoo on each arm, three on her hip, and one on her thigh and ankle, added: “He asked to see any ones that weren’t on show. I declined.”

After finding a piece of wood, they returned to an office within the building.

Miss Wallace continued: “He then approached me, tried to place his hands on me, put them around me, then on my bottom. I backed off and asked ‘How do I get out of the office?’ I was confused and very upset.”

MacLeod denied Miss Wallace’s version of events. However, he conceded that he did ask the teenager for a kiss, before insisting that she then made an advance on him.

In a written judgment yesterday, the Glasgow tribunal ruled: “We had no hesitation in preferring the evidence of the applicant to the evidence of Mr MacLeod. We made a close examination of the demeanour of each when giving evidence. We considered Mr MacLeod’s demeanour to be somewhat evasive.”

I've narrowed their address down via the internet to the John Smith Business Park, Kirkcaldy, Fife but this is a huge site with 3 phases of development and I cannot pinpoint which phase they are in though a hunch is that they rent office space from a firm which has bought many units and is leasing them out on a month by month basis.  The TPS identified them and their parent company, and wrote to them, but it has made no difference.

I've been getting calls from this number for nearly 2 years - at least twice-weekly.  I've reported them to the TPS who wrote to the parent company but this has made no difference.

This is most likely an autodialler.  The phone system dials numbers from a list which has been programmed into it.  When a voice answers it then rings one of the externsions but if they are all busy it just driops the call.so all the person on the receiving end hears is a silent call.

Supposedly a call from Harvey and Grant re grants for homeowners. Obviously don't do homework as Ilive in rented accomodation. Also they are calling from a fax line hence you cannot get back to complain using the number.  Send complaint to TPS if you are registered - otherwise register complaint with Fife police. If they get sufficient volume of complaints they wil have to take action as the caller appears to be operating a scam as they call using a variety of supposed Company Names all of which are untraceable.
