You must lead a tragically empty and sad life to welcome your daily unsolicited calls, at any time of day or night not of your choosing, to then go through your spiel "hello and thank you for calling to make my day more interesting...  blah blah!"

I rather think it is you that needs to find more fulfilling and useful things to fill your time, especially as you post at your favourite time - midnight - as you regularly do.  What, no Corrie, East Enders or Jeremy Kyle to keep you entertained at midnight on Sunday?

Tell you what, why not post your phone number here, and we can all call you to brighten up yoiur day / evening / night whenever we choose?  No - I didn't think you would.  What an idiot you are!

I bet there has been appointment's made with people on TPS so it is not entirely wasteful but I do agree with you for once. People should remember that its not the people calling you that are to blame its the company.

What I think he/she is trying to get at is that its not the people calling you that is to blame its the company. So that is why he/she is being polite.

A WEALTHY businessman has lost an employment tribunal after it was ruled that he had kissed and groped a teenage employee despite his wife being in the next office.

Donald MacLeod, 44, a director of the family firm DM Design Bedrooms Ltd, of Cumbernauld, was yesterday ordered to pay £1,070 in compensation to a telesales canvasser, Lindsay Wallace, 19, for unlawfully sexually discriminating against her.

The millionaire businessman had asked to see the girl’s tattoos before the tribunal heard how he tried to kiss her and put his hands on her bottom.

At an earlier hearing in May, MacLeod admitted asking her for a kiss in exchange for a piece of wood, but claimed Miss Wallace initiated the advance.

Miss Wallace, from Eastfield, Cumbernauld, had asked MacLeod for a piece of wood in July last year. As they went to collect it from the warehouse, he inquired about her tattoos.

Miss Wallace, who has a tattoo on each arm, three on her hip, and one on her thigh and ankle, added: “He asked to see any ones that weren’t on show. I declined.”

After finding a piece of wood, they returned to an office within the building.

Miss Wallace continued: “He then approached me, tried to place his hands on me, put them around me, then on my bottom. I backed off and asked ‘How do I get out of the office?’ I was confused and very upset.”

MacLeod denied Miss Wallace’s version of events. However, he conceded that he did ask the teenager for a kiss, before insisting that she then made an advance on him.

In a written judgment yesterday, the Glasgow tribunal ruled: “We had no hesitation in preferring the evidence of the applicant to the evidence of Mr MacLeod. We made a close examination of the demeanour of each when giving evidence. We considered Mr MacLeod’s demeanour to be somewhat evasive.”

Scottish sounding male called on this number today. He asked "Is that [my name]?" when I asked who is calling he rang off. Not had this one before, but seems to be a repeat offender. If he calls again I shall report it to the police as harrassment.

i have recieved a number of calls from this number tried to ring back to complain. This number is the sales department from dm design if you call back on 0800185186 this is the head office and you can make a complaint there and get  your details removed.

Usual patter. Strong Scottish accent. Harvey & Grant, asked to speak to me by name. I asked for her name which she gave me. Asked her how she got my number. "It's on my database". Asked for her company's number."I don't have one, but I can take you off the database."  (As a TPS subscriber I should not be on her database in the first place.) Can I have an address please? "I can take you off our database." Me again, Can I have an address please? Hung up.

Yet another of these calls.  I returned the call to the originating number - 01592-642600.  The recording identified them as DM Design and the DM Design website confirmed the freephone number above - 0800-185186.  I thought others may like to know that this number is still current.

It is DM Design in Fife - it is a Kikrkcaldy STD.  IF you are not already registered with the Telephone Preference service do so now, if you are registered report them now!

What people need to appreciate is that if you are TPS registered and they phone you then they are BREAKING THE LAW and as such you are quite entitled to both verbally abuse them and also REPORT them - online on TPS site.
To quote from the TPS web site "organisations engaging in unsolicited direct marketing calls are OBLIGED under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 to screen their data against the TPS and MUST NOT MAKE an unsolicited direct marketing call to any number registered with TPS.

You my friend do not realise you should phone back and verbally abuse the company director and not the people phoning you, they are only making a living, I bet they hate calling you as much as you do receiving them!

Called asking for my boss saying he was a taxi and was waiting out side our address and the meter has been running and was now at £40.00 also said he had tried our other line which is infact a fax line and my boss wouldn't know that number so don't know what they were trying to do but when I said I had checked and there was no taxi outsid our building he hung up.

This is really odd, concidering the other posts on this site, which all state that this is DM Designs in Kirkaldy.  It would be so ironic if their number had been "spoofed"!!!

Got a call from this number tonight, looked it up on here to see who it was. Will not be calling them back. I'm registered with TPS so why can these scammers do this? How can we stop them?

Because they've not been prosecuted for it - yet.

By making a formal complaint to the police for harrassment, and insisting on pressing charges.  After all, Donald MacLeod has got form, after he was fined for trying it on with one of his young female employees.

REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE FOR HARRASSMENT - NOW!!!!!
