Had a couple of messages from this company stating "Bailiff due to REMOVE GOODS. Please call "01604 633001. DO NOT TEXT" from the mobile number +447904589029 call the number and relutently gave over my postcode house number and phone number, The lady i spoke to was quite polite and after being left on hold for approx 3-4 minutes was advised that they had the incorrect details. hopefully wont have more texts!

This company are rude and they do not want to help you I never got a letter from the council but the phoned and said they were coming sontried to phone and no answer
I have had nothing but hassle from them

i bought a car 2 month ago and the previous owner had not transfered into my names, realising this i called dvla who advised me to send the new keepers slip and they would tranfer it.walk up on monday the the car has ben clamped by newlyn plc that the previous owner had parking charges of £750. explained to them what happened and they dont want to know unless i produce v5 withing 7 days or they will be selling the car. still waitng for the v5 which will take more than 7 days to arrive i dont know what to do.....................

Chris, they are not bailiffs, they are a debt collection agency. There is a difference. Bailiffs are certified and have a local authority stamp on their letterheads. This company has no official authority stamp on their letterheads. They are in effect, con artists pretending to have authority. All of you out there dealing with these people should first ask "are you a certified bailiff or a debt collector?" if they claim to be a certified bailiff then they will have the certificate to prove it. If they can't show you the certificate then take all their details, name of debt collector, who his line manager is, company address phone number, email and company registration number.

DO NOT ALLOW THEM ACCESS TO YOUR PROPERTY

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NAME!  or any other information about yourself. Politely tell them that you will contact their office the following day to confirm what they have told you.

Then send notice of 'removal of implied rights' for access to your property to their address (registered post) and that any further visits will be viewed as trespass and that you will prosecute any further visits.

The debt collector will then pass the case back to wherever it came from and they will probably try again with another debt collector.

A bonified bailiff will need 2 things to take away your property legally.

1) an officially stamped summons that has been issued by the county court

2) a county court judgement that has an official stamp.


Without these items they have zero power over you or your property. They usually get what they want by fear and intimidation. Show them no fear and they will dissapear like the bogeyman

Take civil action against them. Apply to your local county courts. Call in person to the county courts and explain your circumstances and that you wish to pursue civil action against them. They will give you the necessary forms to complete. There is a charge for this (£50 for any action leading to compensation of £1500 or under) last time I looked, this may have changed by now but it will be in a similar ball park. Also, report them to the police for theft of your vehicle.

Had a call from this company this evening (19:47), no one there when I answered.  I have just recently had my telephone number changed, have no debts and do not own a car, so I can only presume they have the wrong contact details

the God damned company! They persisted sending my letter for asking council tax. How can a student need to pay council tax?

If you are in student accommodation, speak to your landlord or the letting agent.  I would have thought that Council Tax would be paid by the owner of the property and be included in your rent.  \don't just ignore them.

been pestered by this company Newlynn dont owe any money to anyone looking for someone with a different name using my number have been phoned 3 times today hung up first time none there 2nd time 3rd time spoke to a girl who asked for my name when given was told that my name would be taken off computer we will see ignore answering this number

Had a call asking me to ring back, nobody answers and I don't owe any money have any outstanding parking fines or anything.

I've had some major arguments with these people they have very small brains. Basically I paid a parking fine off to these guys, have the receipt and bank statement but they insist there is still another fine I've asked the cancil and they don't have it on record.   They keep sending letters saying they will take goods from my girlfriends house thinking I live there evan though none of it belongs to me. The minute they turn up there they will be arrested for either trying to steal my girlfriends property tresspassing and harassment. I currently work away from home and only use her address to send my mail to. the mortgage is in her name. So if you're reading this newlyn then bring it on arsholes! Good tip for the phone calls is get a call blocker app works a treat.

Also had a text a couple of weeks ago saying that bailiffs were on their way.

I have never paid council tax and I have no intention of paying council tax. I get text messages from this company so I added them to my address book and then selected block caller. I then started receiving direct calls with a recorded robotic voice every hour so I added them to my address book and then selected block caller.

The smart phone says their calls will be redirected to some answering service somewhere who cares as long as I don't get the calls. The government makes unemployed people pay council tax and I was classed as fit for work. I had a car accident I lost an eye and had head and brain injuries and broke my back and  I am not the same person as I used to be mentally. I don't worry about anything and I am prone to tell people to [***] off I have no respect whatsoever for any form of authority regardless of the consequences. I am a different person and they will never ever get money out of me I don't function mentally as I used to I'm a different person and cannot help it.

This company NEWLYN phoned my home every night for a week and never spoke when I finaly phoned them to find out why they were harassing me they said were looking for ( they gave me a name ) I said that he did not live here and that I had lived at this address for 33years and no one of that name had ever lived here they then asked for my name I refused so they could not put my name to the bill the operator said "we will just keep on calling you then" and they have every day and still no one talks even today Sunday I  don't know how too stop it

Just taken a call from them at gone 8 o clock tonight asking for my son.  When I asked what it was regarding they said it was for a 'traffic offence'.  Giving the impression they were from the police.  I am going to report them but not sure who to.

This guys just called me at past 8 pm as well. Yesterday day they left a message on my phone which I could not comprehend so I called back since I was expecting a very important parcel. I asked who they were and they asked who I was. Thinking it was the delivery guy I foolishly gave my full names. 15 mins later I receive a text message saying they were on their way to seize my belongings. Lol let them come I am waiting for them.
