- NottinghamBeen for an interview today in Nottingham with AC Generations, I was supposed to have an interview with William Stone but he was not there.. Was asked to go back tomorrow to shadow a manager!!! I think not after all the research i have done today.. Sound like scam artists.. Also they kept apologising for the state of the offices saying they only moved in there 3 days ago... I have read reports of people having interviews there over 4 weeks ago!! Stay well clear folks..
- AC Generations RevealedYou are sincerely lucky if you have read this...
AC Generations are exceptionally dodgy. They have been reported and found guilty by the Advertising Standards Agency for falsifying information in their job advertisements.
It's a dodgy set up. The business is owned by one Nick Johnson (you can find this info on Companies House), however his boss/person who promoted him, works under the same name...Mr Lawrence Randall. So the person technically below you, owns the company?!?!? How illegal!!!
I believe Mr Randall has now sourced a new business, LJR Marketing. He has promoted out a few people, Darren Campbell, William Stone, Kyle...don't know his last name but I saw it on another post that he is clearly identifiable by the amount of drugs he takes.
Mr Randall is partial to snorting coke with Will Stone apparantley. They have just set up shop in Nottingham, so BEWARE of AC Generations in Nottingham.
The Governement Agencies have already begun bringing these guy's adverts down, so now all it needs is us to help keep them away!- Caller: AC Generations
- kittycati also went for one of thier job interviews in culver street in colchester in september. i had real trouble finding the building and when i finally got there i had to wait for half an hour till my interview. whe i finaly had it i was sat in a room where he asked me the same question in different ways yet when i asked sepcifically what i would be doing he avoided the question or simply answered 'marketing'... very vague. i was told to wait for the call back between 5 and 6 and at 5:55 i recieved the call saying i got a call back. i was told to wear flat shoes as i would be on my feet however i was not told that this would involve walking door to door! i started at 12 and was not told what would be happening. i was handed over to 2 young men and told they were my reviewers adn they then lead me outside. also avoiding my questions of what specifically we would be doing. we then got into a car which i was highly uneasy with as no one (including me) knew where i was other than 'on a job interview' which i had thought would be in colchester. after 5 hours of wandering around ipswich (!!!) i told my 'reviewer' that the job wasnt for me and had to find my own way home. i had huge blisters and nothing to show for it other than being a little less naive. i am only 19 and i completely believe they took advantage of my trusting nature. i believed because they told me they were an expanding company that they were legit. i was obviously wrong. i wish i had found this site earlier, would have saved me so much time!

- ReporterDickinson House is the centre for this ENTIRE scam. Every single business on here is linked to Dickinson House.
I am currently working on getting Panorama to do a full investigation of Dickinson House, 20 Dickinson Street. Apparently they are part of the Smiths Marketing franchise which appeared on Panorama a few weeks ago...how INTERESTING.
We have started a Facebook Page, please like it and help join the cause. It is the only way for it to become more public. The more likes, the more Panorama will take us seriously.

- Stella101Went for a meeting in colchester 38-40 culver street yesterday then done some research on here ... needless to say they invited me back today and I didn't go.
What a scam ... how are they allowed to do this?!- Caller: AC GENERATIONS
- Dan RobboLooks like they're still up to their old tricks. I applied two nights ago via totaljobs.com. For a position in the Colchester branch of 'AC Generations' i then got a phone call on Monday afternoon asking if i would be able to attend to a 15 minute interview the next day at 2 o'clock. The email had said to dress professionally as i would be having the interview with one of 2 Managers. When I got into Colchester town i had difficulty finding the building so I called Nikita Walsh and she helped me find the AC Gen Office. After waiting for around 10 minutes in the waiting room i finally started my interview with the 'manager' who didn't even look above 20. When i was having the interview i had been told that the job role was speaking to clients face to face to build a relationship. His 'Business' that AC Gen are working with are TalkTalk. I was also informed that within 6-10 months i could be promoted up to 4 times, and that if i was successful i would be phoned between 5 and 6 seeing as only 5 people can attend the open day out of 20 candidates that were being interviewed that day. Wish i had searched up more about them.

- pioneerforchangeGuys we really need to do something about this. I feel absolutely sick and wish that I'd found this site before I wasted 2 months of my life at AC Generations in London. I left a job where I was getting a salary, under the impression that I was walking into an amazing opportunity to become a manager of my own business and they even played me on my ambitions, I want to get into advertising and so was led to believe that I would learn about the industry in order to obtain my ambitions. For the 2 months I was there I was a "highroller" as they called it, often yet never ever saw the profit. The most I would get a week was about £150 even though I was signing up at least 3 customers a day. They brainwashed me so much that I nearly lost my family because they couldn't stand to see me being taken for a fool and Nick Johnson was constantly in my ear assuring me that he was on my side and that I didn't need my family. I was constantly told everyday by Nick Johnson and my "mentors" of what an amazing opportunity this was and that I needed to work harder if I wanted it to pay off. Constant phonecalls from Lawrence Randall assuring us that if we worked harder we'd make it like he did, belittling us for the fact that he'd done the so-called programme in 13 weeks yet there's people there who've been there for over a year and were still at the same level as me. I was working my [***] off sometimes 13 hours a day, 6 days a week. Their excuse for my not getting paid was that I wasn't closing my sales good enough and so my customers were cancelling which means that AC Generations do not get paid for the sale which means I don't get paid. I was sent out on a "road trip" to manchester to help their office launch the Talk Talk campaign and we were sent to the most remote locations (I have pictures to prove this) where hardly any customers walked by which meant that we made absolutely no money.
It makes me feel absolutely sick to think about how hard I worked and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. It is a cult. They suck you in and use your weaknesses to their strengths in order to keep you. You think you've made friends for life as you think that you're all in this together but as soon as you leave you are completely cut off. You never see your money or your "friends" ever again, which leaves you in this constant dilemma as to whether or not you've made a mistake. Not only this, but the information given during the "training" you're given in order to work on the campaign is completely false and you are basically trained to lie to customers. I feel absolutely sick to think of all the people I've unknowingly lied to and are now trapped in a contract. We all need to do something about spreading the word about this company because they've been getting away with this for far too long by the sounds of it. - SnoopThese companies really should be regulated on their recruitment tactics. Whilst they are not really breaking the law, they are falsely claiming to be marketing companies and then forcing interviewees to work for a whole day doign door-to-door sales.
I urge everyone to avoid at all costs. Unless you are extremely desperate.- Caller: AC Generations

- Sam| 1 replyI think you people on here are all stupid!! You are just the ones that can't handle doing SALES!
If you can't do sales DON'T GO FOR A SALES JOB which is what this company does!
It is a self employed role therefore if you CANT hack doing the sales for whichever reason.. your lazy/stupid/cant be [***] you're NOT going to make money therefore it is NOT the companies fault which you have joined. They simply provide you with application forms, ID badges to show your legit (part of their company) and tell you where to go to do your sales.
If you can't handle door to door sales go and work in Tesco for a set wage don't go for a commission only job then sit on the internet bitching that you made £20 in a week!!
I have worked there and I made a grand one week...the week I worked my [***] off and knocked on loads of doors! Its that simple! The days I didn't feel too good so I was lazy I didn't make money!
So bored of reading ppl slagging off door to door sales companies that are just trying to grow, if its not your thing DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Caller: AC Generations
- Andrewhttp://www.acgenerations.co.uk/
I have started working for AC Generations 2 week back, They have advertised job for "Graduate Business Intern" on the first day they have told me first two week you goanna get 150/week and after 4 week it will be £250/week then after six week £400 a week and after 12 week £500 - 800 a week. But after 2 days I realise it’s nothing more than door to door selling and its completely based on 20% commission. One more amazing fact at initial level I was communicating with HR Manager Ms Sarah Plotter but when I get in company I realise they don’t have any Sarah or HR department. By the way in last few weeks I have done some door to door sells and they ahvent paid me a single penny and when I asked for money now NO ONE PICK MY CALL in Office. I seen after me many people has joined company and they done the same with every one... I am surprise if any body will giude us how to take legal action against this kind of scams???- Caller: AC Generations
