Tremenda estafa,te llaman para ofrecerte un producto que jamas ves.Le dices que te devuelvan el dinero y se rien de ti.
Los comerciales son españoles y capaces de vender a su madre.
Dentro de un mes me voy a Manchester a ver como puedo recuperar mi dinero.

Manuela la de recepcion te intenta convencer de que no hay problemo que es google quien necesita un periodo de tiempo para publicitar tu anuncio y cuando te despistas te cobran otra vez.

ni se os ocurra dar el numero de tarjeta!!!!!

Paid them £180.00 for thirty days. Only one of the five keywords is coming up. Rang them several times. Told me it was all up and running. Sent an email saying they had breached contract and to cancel.
Rang Manchester trading standards and tomorrow I will inform bank and write formal letter by
recorded delivery.
They talk about clicks and sent me a supposed performance report. I explained that I cannot
put clicks in my bank account.
 I am now put off advertising on the internet for good.

Also got scammed. Goings  to contact police and office of fair trading tomorrow.

I've just been scammed by EBS Marketing as well, in exactly the same way as described in the all the messages above. They claimed they were google and would keep my website on page 1 of the search results for a month, for a fee of £150+ vat. Gave them my credit card details and a few hours letter received an echosign digital contract from EBS Marketing!!  That sent the alarm bells ringing.

I then did a quick google search for EBS Marketing and this page came up. So when I called them saying that they  fraudulently took money from me they got extremely aggressive. What a dreadful operation.

They need to be reported to google.

I can see that somebody set up a blog to document their misdemeanours at http://ebsmarketing.blogspot.co.uk/ 

However, this blog seems to have been taken down by a "cease and desist" requst. Someone should set up another blog with all the information on this page before EBS Marketing get this page taken down.

Another victim of ebs marketing here too! Paid for a months Facebook advertising and received nothing. Beware of John Fisher and Paul Cook!

Just had the same thing happen to me! They called claiming to be google, offered me a deal to have my site on the front page etc etc 30 day rolling contract. Got the esign thing which had EBS marketing all over it!! I have google adwords already and contacted them about the fraud. They were very interested and immediately i got an email from the Google legal team asking to have any information about EBS (including any contracts they sent to be esigned). I suggest everyone contact google and do the same! The more people make a fuss to google the more likely their legal team can investigate properly (as google probably have a little more clout than us!)

How do you contact Google? I to have been scammed by Ebs, feel like such a fool about it.  I have cancelled my card details and been in contact with my bank and citizens advice, feel so angry about this.  I have been trying to find out how to contact google as they are being used by this very dangerous bunch of crooks, but can't find a direct contact.

I have google Adwords so I just contacted them, they got right on it and their legal team are investigating now. Maybe just try to find a number for Adwords or Adsense and just inform google of a misuse of their brand. The people call them the more seriously they will take it! Luckily (with difficulty) I just cancelled my account, took the £100 hit and got the f*** out of there! Ensure you get records of everything (all correspondence, who you spoke to and when, record phone calls, get everything they 'agree' in writing)

Thanks for the advice, they are now trying to go down the legal route, think this is going to get ugly.

honestly mate do not worry about the legal route they try and take you down, I have worked for this company before just launching the adverts and I have heard them say so many times "threaten them with legal action"

the company never go through with it because they are scared shitless of the courts, they aren't even VAT registered however claim to be on there website.

the way it works is simple, the sales rep on the phone will tell you that you "will be contacted 2-3 days prior to the end of the 30 day campaign" this gives the customer a false impression that they will receive a phone call.

however what they do is send out a stats report (that they make up the figures on)

this is usually put together a day before your 30 days is up however they put a delayed send out on there email so it doesn't land in your inbox until between 11:30 - 11:59 pm the day before.

this gives the client no tiem atall to see the report and state they wish to cancel and then at 8 oclock the next morning they get straight on to the renewals and take a second payment.

that is how they cover themselves and why they are still getting away with this.

Contacted Google today and they are not happy about them, been advised to submit a report to google complaints department.  Also contact Citizens Advice and they have submitted a report to Trading Standards on my behalf.  

I have also discovered that they have another company called Consumer Care Direct Ltd. Basically, you pay the a yearly fee and you get big discounts at various retail outlets. Except you don't. Unbelievable people behind the scenes here, how many crooks work there.

They gonna wish they never dealt with me that's for sure, I will not except this treatment from anyone.

Makes me wonder if the director of EBS, Zishan Manzoor, really is the director and not just some bogus front to make it look like a proper company. Bet he's got a Merc....

Looks like this company have had another lucky strike, unfortunately. I often get calls from legit. companies for advertising, but this lot caught me unawares. They sound very convincing.

Stay well clear mate, and spread the word.  They are only interested in your hard earned cash.

Yes really beware of this company. Another in a list of others who I have had dealings with who have failed to give a promised service resulting in lost money.

They rang me today with the usual speel. I wanted to take a day to consider! Then the real pressure began - telling me they need to know within the hour as other businesses may take the one place available to advertise".

I always go straight to the internet to look up these companies and most I have found have a poor record.

I am a therapist and have become wise to these calls as those have who have already complained.
